The most popular excursion at any resort is rarely the most memorable. The couples who come home with the best stories made plans based around who they are as travelers, not what was easiest to book at the front desk. We can help you figure out your type. Everything else follows.

Zip line excursion
The Thrill-Seekers
You did not fly this far to lie on a beach chair.
Book the zip line through the cloud forest, the white-water rafting trip or the ATV tour through the jungle. Cliff jump in Negril. Take a surfing lesson in Sayulita. Do the open-water dive certification you’ve been putting off for three years. The resort will try to sell you the tamer version of all of these, but we know you better. We can find you the private operator with better reviews and a slightly longer waiver (and it will be worth it, trust us).

Machu Picchu, Peru
The Foodies
Your pre-trip research was mostly reading restaurant reviews.
We are thinking morning market tour that ends with a cooking class. Or the vineyard lunch at the small winemaker nobody besides the locals has heard of yet. Skip the standard dinner at the hotel restaurant on your first night — we’ll help you find a street-food tour led by someone who truly knows the area. If the destination has a Michelin-starred standout or chef’s table worth the reservation, make it the centerpiece of the trip and we can plan everything else around that.

Delft, The Netherlands
The Culture Lovers
You want to leave knowing something you didn’t know before.
We will connect you with a private guide for any major site on your list, because at Machu Picchu, Angkor Wat or the Acropolis, the difference between a private guide and a group tour is not subtle. We can track down the best after-hours museum access. Or find the artisan workshop — a ceramics class on a Greek island, a weaving demonstration in the Sacred Valley, a glassblowing session in Murano — and plan for a full afternoon for it rather than trying to squeeze it in.

Private Boat
The Do-Nothings
You just want to relax, and that’s a completely valid strategy.
As your travel advisor, we love to plan these kinds of excursions. Our favorite is the private beach picnic or candlelit beach dinner. Most properties are happy to do this and it costs way less than you’d think. Or we can book a sunset sailing charter where you bring nothing and just go. We’ll find the spa that does the destination-specific treatment: the volcanic mud bath in St. Lucia, the hammam in Morocco, the onsen outside Kyoto. And we’ll reserve the tasting menu with the best view, where you can linger as long as you like because they know who sent you.
