Most people stick to the more “well known” areas such as Milan and Venice, but, trust me, there is so much more waiting to be experienced.

Cuisine:

The North Italian dish, Polenta, warms the soul. Smothered in a rich cheese of your choice and normally including a type of mushroom or cured meat, polenta is my go-to on a chilly day.

Finishing with something sweet, try the famous Venetian tiramisu. A coffee-infused classic that is sure to become a beloved experience.

The widely known DOC wine, Prosecco, originates in the Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia regions. Pop open a bottle while visiting here, or try it as an aperitif in the form of a Spritz. Perfect on a warm summer day!
