Youth Group Travel

In December 2021, I found myself at the airport with over 80 students, chaperones, and family members, preparing to fly from LA to Honolulu on Southwest Airlines—without assigned seating! Conducting roll call was quite a challenge, but we managed because I was doing what I love: traveling and helping others travel!

Before becoming a licensed travel agent, I spent many years planning trips as a volunteer for various student groups. My journey began with a small Girl Scout troop of kindergarten and first graders, whom we took from Charlotte, NC, to Washington, DC, for the 100th anniversary celebration. It was a small group, but the adventure was incredible! From there, I expanded my volunteer efforts, helping my daughter’s marching band travel to remarkable events, such as the 80th Anniversary of the Pearl Harbor Parade.

My 10+ years of volunteering with youth groups provided a solid foundation for my current role as a travel agent. The continuous training I receive enhances my skills and broadens my capabilities in planning unforgettable trips for youth groups. My experience working within school systems, nonprofit organizations, and alongside chaperones, parents, and students has equipped me with the expertise to navigate the complexities of youth group travel.Witnessing the joy and excitement of students and scouts as they embark on these adventures is incredibly rewarding. I am passionate about helping your group plan an amazing journey!
