About Cheryl

Travel has been part of my story for as long as I can remember. Growing up as a military kid meant moving from one military base to another and discovering new places along the way. I eventually married a military man, and my love of exploring continued through our years as a military family.

When my daughters came along, travel took on a whole new meaning. Some of my favorite adventures have been connected to their activities and interests-from a Girl Scout trip to the Grand Canyon to traveling to Hawaii with a marching band and helping with the 80th Pearl Harbor Memorial Parade. Add in school trips, family vacations, and plenty of road trips, and I've had the opportunity to experience travel in a lot of different ways.

Today, I bring those experiences to my work as a travel advisor with ABCD Adventures Travel Services, where I specialize in group travel, women’s travel, accessible travel, family and multigenerational travel, and experiential adventures.

Group Travel

Group travel is one of my favorite things to plan because there are so many moving pieces-and because traveling together creates memories that people share long after they return home. I help coordinate travel for families, friends, organizations, school and scout groups, and other special-interest groups.

Whether you're gathering everyone for a milestone celebration, planning a long-awaited friends' getaway, organizing a group vacation, or coordinating travel for an organization, I can help take the logistics off your plate.

Women’s Travel

I especially enjoy helping women make time for travel-whether that's a girls' getaway, a milestone trip, a group vacation, or simply an opportunity to explore somewhere new together.

Travel doesn't have to wait for the “perfect” time. Sometimes the best trips are the ones we finally decide to put on the calendar.

Accessible Travel

Travel should be an opportunity, not a source of frustration. I help travelers consider accessibility and individual needs when planning accommodations, transportation, activities, and itineraries. My goal is to help create a trip that works for the people actually taking it-not a one-size-fits-all vacation.

Family & Multigenerational Travel

After years of traveling with my own family, I understand that planning a trip for different ages, interests, energy levels, and expectations can take some thought. I enjoy helping families find destinations and experiences that give everyone something to look forward to.

I start by getting to know you and the reason behind the trip. Who is going? What do you want to experience? What matters most-budget, accessibility, relaxation, activities, location, or simply making the planning easier?

From there, I help narrow down the possibilities, coordinate the details, and create an itinerary that fits your travel style and the people traveling with you.

I believe good travel planning is about more than finding a destination or making a reservation. It's about understanding the people going and creating an experience that feels right for them.

And because I've spent years traveling with family, groups, and for special events and activities, I know that sometimes the details behind the scenes are just as important as the destination itself.

A Few Things About Me

My favorite trip? Spain with one daughter to visit the other while she studied abroad! It combined two of my favorite things-travel and time with my girls. It gave us the chance to experience a place together while creating memories I know we'll always share.

I'm also a firm believer that there is almost always another place worth exploring. One of my family's traditions is trying to find a new destination we haven't experienced before. There are still plenty on the list!
