Our honeymoon was my husband's and I first international travel, and we had a lot of typical first-timer questions and Makayla held our hand throughout the entire process! She is hyper organized and made sure we knew exactly what was going to happen on every leg of our trip, and that we had all the documentation and contact information we needed to feel secure in our travels. Everything she told us to expect on our travels happened according to plan and was executed flawlessly. From our airport transfers, to our excursions, and recommending how much to tip our resort staff, she had everything covered and works with her client's best interests in mind. Makayla's communication and response time is quick and kind - something I especially appreciated because my responses are always delayed! While we were on vacation, she was ready at a moments notice to answer last minute questions, and she even worked on a Sunday to get our flight's changed when we wanted to come home a day early. We had an excellent experience with Malala. She was efficient and effective in helping us arrange flights, hotels, excursions, and train trips. Her communication skills are wonderful--she stayed in touch with us all along the way, and made sure everything was done in a timely way. She asked for input when we had to make choices, and provided the right information at the right times so we were never overwhelmed. She truly made the difference for us having a great time.

The trek was colorful, difficult at times, and let us know - we can do what the mind wants to do even if the way forward is to take a detour. With Makaylas help with complicated flights we 4 souls connected in Indianapolis and traveled then together to Newcastle. After completing a long trek, train arrangements made by our Makayla took us to London. The train we were booked on was cancelled because of weather - but if we hurried and we did- another earlier train was just boarding - so off we went to London arriving earlier than our original booking. Our hotel in London ( Kensington Hilton) was quite wonderful- located in easy walkable areas- foods readily available - and we learned the city bus is the way to go. We often asked for assistance from the concierge desk and all requests were completed often with further instructions. The breakfast buffet there was extensive and plentiful; after one visit we looked for coffee shops nearby for coffee and pastries and were always able to find those lovlies. One thing that has never happened to me anyway was after we returned to our room after the days activities - housekeeping came by to see if our room was serviced well and to our satisfaction. What lovely service! Our flight home - Heathrow to Denver - was without any difficulty. And and empty seat in our row allowed us to spread out a bit. The one glitch we experienced was completely an airline kerfuffel - in Chicago - and I feel it was caused by the document check point for the ETA now required for UK. Also the gate area was home for at least 2 international flights and quite small for even one international flight as those tend to be large numbers of folks, making much confusion. We stuck our ground there and once boarded the flight (United/Lufthansa) was without issue. The hotel in Newcastle - Hotel Indigo- was also great, staff were friendly, helpful, and the breakfast good- the staff there even remembered our drinks and those appeared before we ordered.

I had not traveled outside the US before. Makayla made all the plans and adjustments along the way. She answered every question and allayed my fears. A document of service tips, local currency, and general advice was emailed as the trip approached. Makayla let me know when to expect emails from Trafalgar giving additional information on the tour.

Makayla was amazing at communicating with me. She helped us get bus tickets and transportation to the Bus station when trains were on strike in Portugal. She also responded immediately while I was abroad with a few questions. Her transfers to and from airports were the best and most prompt we have ever used. Makayla helped me plan a surprise 50th birthday trip to Tulum, Mexico for my boyfriend! The highlight of the trip was our visit to Chichen Itza. I have used Makayla before so she already knew that the site was a must for my boyfriend and she was right. He said it was the best birthday he has ever had!

She had good recommendation but not pushing her agenda letting us decide what was best and worked for us. This was my first experience with a travel agent, and it definitely won’t be my last! Makayla was extremely helpful in every aspect of our trip. She was super helpful at the very beginning of planning with sending us several different resorts to look through and choose from.
