This review is for Morocco, Ecuador and Italy. Vivian Nguyen was our travel agent for all three trips. We discovered Vivian Nguyen on FB after returning from our first trip with Exoticca. We decided to book future Exoticca vacations through Vivian based on positive client feedback, no extra charge to book, and peace of mind knowing that you have an advocate/contact when you run into un-foreseen issues. Vivian provides exceptional service during booking, before departure, and during/after the trip as required. She is very helpful, has provided recommendations and tips when planning a trip, and manages expectations for a drama-free vacation. Its all about the details and knowing what you signed up for. You can reach out to Vivian through What’s App for assistance throughout the trip life cycle. Example: On our last trip we deplaned around 10:30 pm. We went to the designated meeting spot for transfer to the hotel. At almost 11:00 pm still no one arrived. The local support was only available during business hours. We reached out to Vivian to see if she could help us. She responded within minutes and said she will look into it! Five minutes later she explained what happened and provided instructions for getting to the hotel, which was far from the airport. We submitted our cab receipt to Vivian and were fully reimbursed. It’s good to have Vivian on your side! For the three trips we booked through Vivian, we had to contact her regarding an unforeseen issue each time. She always responded promptly and resolved issues to our satisfaction. We shared Vivian’s contact information with fellow Exoticca travellers and speak highly of her. We are from Canada. Fellow Canadian travellers are sometimes surprised our travel agent is located in the US. There are no borders for Vivian. She provides the same excellent service to all clients. This year was my husband's 70th year and I wanted something a little special. Explored several options with Vivian over WhatsApp choosing a 13 day excursion to Greece including three islands. When the final documentation hadn't arrived, an email to Vivian solved the problem within 24 hrs. Before we left, I had questions regarding European ETIAS, Vivian clarified what needed / did needed to be done. Last day on the trip, I contacted the tour people on our last transfer time, I couldn't get a response, texted Vivian and within 30 minutes, the issue was resolved. This is my first trip using Vivian's travel agency and I'm very pleased. Everything was completed on a timely and efficient manner. But best of all, during the trip when I didn't know how to proceed, Vivian handled the question quickly and with pleasure. Our last trip to Equador: Galapagos, Quito. Amazonia in April/May was simply fantastic. It was our 5th with Exoticca and second booked through Vivian Nguyen as our agent. And it was great choice as at the beginning of the trip, Avianca cancelled our flight without any information to us or Exoticca and I found that accidentally in the middle of the night, two hours before leaving for the airport. And 2 am talk with Vivian straighten situations. She informed what to do, why it happened checking immediately with an airline. We safely started our adventure. What a help she is in such a stressful situations. She also chose our inland flights and we had much better options than others from our group who booked itself. I always will recommend her service to all because she works with other travel organizations too.

My husband and I have booked our past two Exoticca trips with Vivian. We found her FB page and information after we had booked our first Exoticca trip to Egypt. Having Vivian on our side has been invaluable. We have encountered a few minor glitches with Exoticca, and Vivian had them fixed immediately! She is always pleasant to deal with and handles things in a timely manner. On our first trip, we met some of Vivian's clients, and they raved about her! We have found had the exact same positive experiences with Vivian, and recommend her to all of our friends. I would never book an Exoticca trip without going through her. The trips are fantastic but the customer service pre-trip is difficult to deal with. Even though we are in Canada, Vivian is able to handle our bookings. Our Exoticca adventure to Ireland in March exceeded our expectations. The weather was quite pleasant with very little rain, the countryside was gorgeously green and the daffodils were in full bloom everywhere we ventured. Our group of 28 had an excellent, knowledgeable tour guide who was with us throughout the entire trip, along with a master bus driver who navigated the roads and highways of Ireland. We were very pleased with our accommodations, excursions, and the many stops we made along the way. In addition, knowing Vivian was just a text or email away if a concern arose was very comforting. She was more than helpful in the planning and preparation prior to our departure. We definitely would recommend both Exoticca and Vivian to anyone looking to add some travel to their calendar!

Just got back from our Perú trip. This was our 5th Exoticca trip but first booked through Vivian. I am glad we did. First she was able to fix our hotels in destination. We added an extra night at the beginning and one at the end and they had us staying in different hotels. She was able to make sure we didn’t have to change hotels. During our trip, one of our internal flights did not happen due to the carrier changing the time without telling anyone. Vivian was able to work with Exoticca to rebook a different flight. We will definitely use @viviannguyen to book our next trip!!

What an amazing journey. The trip of a lifetime! It’ll be hard to decide on another place to see as this truly was the top place of all my travels. Vivian was wonderful. Right there if we needed help with anything. Responded right away. At the end of our trip our airlines were cancelled several times (due to the war in Iran) and Vivian was right there to help. Lovely country, the trip was charming and educational. A good mix of guided tours and free time.

Vivian was such a great help on our Exoticca tour of Dubai and Abu Dhabi, which was interrupted by the gulf war. We were stuck in Abu Dhabi when the airspace closed because of the missile and drone attacks. Vivian worked with us and Exoticca tirelessly until late at night for several days, through many iterations of canceled flights, until we were finally able to fly out. It was a much more difficult and stressful experience for other stranded tourists who did not book through Vivian. But we were relaxed because she was continuously working on our behalf. Vivian is our hero!

When researching our holiday, we came across several social media threads for out trip (South Africa and Zanzibar) mentioning that they had "booked with Vee" and recommend it highly. At first I questioned, why would I book my Exoticca trip with an agent, but soon came to understand why it is such a useful and and important decision. You want Vivian in your corner anytime you have to handle postponements, uncertainty or unclear communication from on location Exoticca Partners. In no particular order, here are things that Vee helped with over the duration of our two week holiday: Advised us on what recommendations previous clients of hers had for our particular trip in the time prior to our travels Gave us a 1 week before travel checklist to help with our planning Reviewed our (automated change) flight changes and contacted the airlines on our behalf to ensure the best options for our travels were ensured. This happened on multiple occasions including our outbound flight (we secured a better layover time), internal flights ( to update our pickup drivers directly with the new collection times from the hotel) and our return flights ( handling a pilot strike and securing the best return flight we could get in the circumstances) Handled contact with the on locations partners that Exoticca work with to ensure transfers were rescheduled and confirmed in advance. Gave us peace of mind on our trip - this was a once in a lifetime trip for us, and Vee ensured that we could relax as much as possible that all of our Exoticca based itinerary was being handled. Without doubt, we will book with Vee again on any future Exoticca trips.

The hotels were super and the cruise wonderful. The guide we had on the cruise was spectacular (Zezu). When we weren't sure about things, Vivian found the information for us right away. She was always on top of things.

Why would you book direct with Exoticca and have a poor experience when you can do the EXACT same thing, same price, use the same credits, same trip, … same everything AND couple that with actual amazing service? Prompt service, I may add, too!! Exoticca never answers their calls (other than to take your money at the beginning). Vivian is there all the way along with great help! She is knowledgeable, personable, prompt, thorough, helpful, hard working… you can’t go wrong. Everyone that I meet I tell to use Vivian. Try her once! You won’t regret it.

From the very start, Vivian took care of everything for me including flights.She sent some instructions to follow for the following months, which I neglected to read. However, a week before my trip, she reminded me again, whether I had booked my seats or not, which I hadn't. I'm glad she asked me, as my wife needs adjacent seats due to difficulties in getting in and out of these seats due to a physical handicap. I just came back from a week trip to Greece w my 8 yr old grandson. I was nervous traveling internationally with my grandkid so I reach out to Vivian. I booked this trip through Vivian Nguyen and she was able to safe me some money with my credit in Exoticca. Going to the country when English isn’t always popular and without knowledge of Spanish nonexistent , I wanted to have someone who can help me with nesesery contact if anything happens. There was situation of cancellation of my hotel and Vivian immediately took control and made sure I am informed about change of hotel. She responded at any time of a day or night and that makes me feel that I am in good hands, safe and in good care. I am very grateful for her service.

I couldn't find the emergency number for Excottica but I got a hold of Vivian. She was able to get a hold of them and found out there were two confirmation numbers that Excottica didnt tell us. Ms. Vee is always available when you need her, even when she is traveling. It might take time for her to respond at times when she is away but she does respond and answer all your concerns. I highly recommend her services.

I had booked directly with Exoticca before, but this time I decided to ask Vivian to help me with the planning, since I wanted to add a day before and one after the tour ended, as well as direct flights from Miami to Zurich, something that it wasn't easy to do through the website. From the very first contact, Vivian was always very quick to respond every question or request, even though she is on a different time zone as me in the US. Two weeks before the start of the tour, I needed to know in which hotel I'd be staying in Zurich, so a friend could stay in the same hotel, and I couldn't find out through Exoticca. I asked Vivian, and she sent me a message at 5 am her time, making it possible for my friend to book the room in an almost sold-out hotel. The trip went well, with no incidents, thankfully, but from what I've had read from others, if I had any problem, I know that Vivian would be there for me. I would recommend her to anyone for any kind of trip you may dream of - you'll be in very good hands!

Vivian was helpful both with assisting with booking our flights and answering our questions regarding our Exoticca travel experience. The communication from the tour provider was not very clear and Vivian was able to reach out and get us answers promptly when there were communication issues due to language barriers. A few hiccups at the start, transportation pickup points were not right per Exoticca. Our agent Vivian got this straightened out quickly before we missed wonderful tours to the Amalfi Coast and Pompeii. I think she must be available 24/7. She picks up no matter what time it is!

The trip was amazing, I would change a few things but overall 5 stars. Vivian was especially helpful as she worked to find accommodations that would suit my dad who recently had hip surgery. Vivian also helped us navigate some flight issues when our first return flight was delayed causing us to miss our connections. Vivian was fabulous and I am pretty sure answering messages at midnight to help us!!

I transferred my exoticca account to be managed by Vivian incase we have problems especially while on vacation but fortunately we did not encounter any. Vivian is readily available whenever you need her. she responds in a timely manner. she also follows up and sends you reminders. I am very happy with the her services.

I just booked a trip to Cyprus for 2025 with Vivian. It was all done via IM and e-mail. Super responsive and easy to deal with.

Only needed the tour portions and was coming from the UK then heading home to Canada. A quick stop off at the Azores on our way. Vivian was able to book and get my discounts applied. Short tour with only 3 trips. I had to reach out to Exoticca as an issue with the time of one of the tours. Ended up getting some credit back, so not sure if this was because I booked through Vee. Overall, all well. Will reach out to Vee for our next trip

On my return home from India Golden Triangle tour, my flight was delayed this causes me to miss my other connection flights. I get in-touch with Vivian and she called the tour company right away, they tried their best to help get me home with other options available. It didn't work out since I checked in with the airline while they were trying to me other flights. Vivian also contacted the travel insurance for me and tell me what would be cover on my missed flights. At the end it all worked out well since the airline provided the accommodations for my delayed flight. And the travel insurance covered enough to return home. I would recommend Vivian as the travel agent to anyone, she works hard and has best advice.

I booked my Gate 1 trip with Vivian because others on facebook recommended her. She handled everything pre-trip so I didn't have to go through anyone else. The trip went so smoothly and everything was according to plan. When we found out we had to pay for our guided trip in a national park even though it was supposed to be included in the tour (the government started to limit visitor numbers in the park), Vivian submitted my payment to Gate 1 for reimbursement. When my first flight home got delayed, Vivian somehow knew when it happened and contacted me immediately. She tried to find me alternative flights and spoke with the airline for me. She notified my travel insurance company. When my flight was canceled, she continued to assist me. I would give Vivian 10 stars!

My wife and I did the 12 day trip to Jordan with Exoticca and retuned home in Mid April.
