Family travel is a special time and will create memories that last a lifetime.  I still remember my first Disney Cruise as a child where I swam in the ocean for the first time.  I remember a road trip we took as a child to Mt Rushmore in South Dakota.  And I remember the family reunion to Calgary/Banff from when I was a teenager.  I may not have thought so at the time but those were magical adventures that I really appreciate today.

Family travel can be as simple as a packing the family in the car and heading a few states away to one of the many national parks, cities with museums or to the beach.  It can also be as exotic as riding camel back in the desert of Africa or taking a tour of one of Europe's many historical sites.  It can be a chance to learn, explore, play and relax all together.

Traveling with kids presents some challenges.  How do you keep a 4 year old occupied on an 8 hour flight to Europe?  How do you make sure you have enough snacks and can you bring food to your next attraction?  Where is it safe to take kids?
