Some journeys change you forever. Mine began at six years old when I boarded a steam train from Philadelphia to New York City and checked into the legendary Hotel Astor. I still remember the excitement of that trip—the sound of the locomotive, the elegance of the hotel, and the realization that there was a world far bigger than the one I knew. That feeling never left me.

Today, my greatest privilege is helping others experience that same sense of wonder. I believe travel isn’t just about taking a vacation—it’s about broadening your perspective, creating unforgettable memories, and returning home with stories you’ll tell for years to come.

For nearly four decades, I’ve dedicated my career to designing exceptional travel experiences. Along the way, I’ve been honored to become one of only six inductees into the KHM Travel Hall of Fame and earn designation as a KHM Pinnacle Agent. I currently serve on the KHM Travel Advisory Board and the Northstar Black Travel Advisory Board, and I’m proud to be a member of the Association of Black Travel Professionals. My travel expertise and destination insights have also been featured in national travel industry publications, including The Compass, where I shared emerging travel trends and destination expertise with fellow travel professionals.

I’ve been fortunate to explore destinations across Europe, Africa, Asia, South America, Mexico, and the Caribbean while personally experiencing luxury cruise lines, boutique hotels, world-class resorts, river cruises, and immersive cultural journeys. Those firsthand experiences allow me to advise my clients with confidence—not from brochures, but from personal experience.

While I can plan almost any vacation, I’ve become especially passionate about creating journeys that go beyond traditional sightseeing. More and more of my clients are looking for authentic cultural experiences that connect them to a destination’s history, people, cuisine, music, and traditions. Whether it’s sailing the Nile after visiting the Grand Egyptian Museum, exploring the Afro-Brazilian culture of Salvador and Rio de Janeiro, embarking on an African safari, cruising Europe’s legendary rivers, or celebrating life’s biggest milestones with family and friends, I believe the most memorable journeys are the ones that create genuine human connections.

One of the greatest advantages I offer is the network I’ve built throughout the world. After decades in the travel industry, I’ve developed trusted relationships with hotel managers, destination specialists, cruise executives, local guides, and tourism professionals. Those partnerships often create opportunities and personalized experiences that simply aren’t available through online booking sites.

Group travel is another area where I thrive. I’ve successfully planned and escorted groups of more than 100 travelers, coordinating everything from international flights and luxury accommodations to private excursions, milestone celebrations, and exclusive cultural experiences. I enjoy taking complicated logistics and making them feel effortless for my clients.

Of course, travel doesn’t always go exactly as planned. When Hurricane Sandy disrupted travel throughout the Northeast, my clients weren’t left to figure things out on their own. Before their cruise even returned to port, I had already secured new flights, arranged accommodations, and redesigned their vacation so they could continue enjoying their trip instead of worrying about the unexpected.
