Universal Orlando Expert

As much as I have always been a lover of Walt Disney World, once I discovered Universal Orlando, I was hooked!  I think a lot of people visit Orlando for Disney and sometimes Universal is an after-thought, or something they think they can experience in a day or two.  But here is what I've come to learn.  This resort complex is truly a destination in and of itself.  You can EASILY spend an entire week here.  What I love about it, is its smaller footprint.  All of the resorts are close to the theme parks and in my opinion, you can't go wrong with any of Universal's resorts.  There is something for every budget and personality.  In addition to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure, their water park Volcano Bay is a HUGE bonus.  I love that most of their packages include Volcano Bay for a low additional cost and you can usually visit it as often as you'd like during your trip.  This is my kids' favorite part of Universal, by far.  With their Unlimited Express pass, it requires very little planning.  I just love the ease of a Universal vacation.  So when you're thinking of experiencing the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, I would encourage you to plan a trip separate from your Disney trip to experience all that this resort complex has to offer!
