Recreational Activities

There are all sorts of excursions to take advantage of at Disney's Private Island, Castaway Cay. Parasailing, inner tube rentals, deep sea fishing, stingray feeding—the opportunities for adventure at all ages are endless. Snorkeling is made for all skill levels at Castaway Cay, and kids will love the surprise Mickey Mouse under the sea. Convenient Perks

Any worries about traveling with children fade away when you get to Castaway Cay. A stop at the island is a worry-free, seamless experience. Purchases can be made with key cards like you would on the ship. There’s free transportation from the ship to the island, and a BBQ lunch is complimentary. Castaway Cay even has its own post office, so you can send postcards home from the island.

Disney Characters

A Disney experience wouldn’t be complete without character appearances! Captain Jack Sparrow has been known to pop up across the island, so have your camera ready to snap a photo with him. Character dance parties are also a favorite. Keep in mind that wait times to meet characters are generally shorter than they are on the ship, so it’s the perfect chance to say hello to Mickey, Minnie and more.
