Thrill Island

Where better to start than the epicenter of onboard adventure, Thrill Island? Icon of the Seas has eight unique neighborhoods, and all the best action is at Thrill Island. Here, you’ll find 360 degrees of activities, from the 40-foot Adrenaline Peak^SM rock-climbing wall and the most mind-bending mini-golf course ever, Lost Dunes^SM, to the classic surf simulator and little something we like to call the largest waterpark at sea. Category 6

Exclusively on Icon of the Seas, Category 6 is home to six twisting, turning, record-breaking slides. We tried them all (multiple times!), from the tallest drop slide at sea where we plummeted 46 feet to the first family raft slide at sea, though our favorite was Pressure Drop. On this first open freefall slide at sea, we stared down an impossibly steep incline before gravity yanked us into a near-vertical slide with an epic splashdown. It was fast. It was wild. It was awesome.

Crown’s Edge^SM

Exclusively on Icon of the Seas is the Crown’s Edge, a daring challenge that combines a skywalk with a ropes course high above the ocean. After being fastened into safety gear, you step onto a walkway that takes you 154 feet above the ocean. This feature is not included in your cruise fare, but it’s totally worth it. Not only will you enjoy a thrilling and daring experience you’ll remember forever, but you will also get a video of your experience to share with your friends, family and followers.
