A Legend Charts a New Horizon

The legendary travel brand begins its next chapter at sea, translating more than a century of heritage into an entirely new style of ultra-luxury sailing. Orient Express is a name synonymous with the very idea of travel. Its legendary rail journeys have long represented an enduring standard of luxury, where thoughtful service, exceptional design and the journey itself have always taken center stage. Now, the brand is taking that philosophy to the water.

With the debut of Orient Express Corinthian, the first of two sailing yachts joining the collection, Orient Express is extending its legacy beyond the rails. At sea, the brand has embraced a different expression of slow, intentional travel, one shaped by the rhythm of sailing and the freedom to explore celebrated coastlines from an entirely new perspective.

Launched in Spring 2026, Orient Express Corinthian became the world's largest sailing yachts while unveiling just 54 suites. Designed by French architect Maxime d'Angeac, the interiors draw inspiration from the golden age of travel while embracing contemporary craftsmanship, natural light and uninterrupted ocean views.

On board, guests will find multiple restaurants, including a signature dining experience by multi-award-winning chef Yannick Alleno, intimate lounges, a marina platform for direct access to the sea and generous outdoor spaces designed for both quiet moments and lively gatherings.

Innovation plays an equally important role. Three towering SolidSail rigs and a hybrid propulsion system allow the yacht to rely primarily on wind power when conditions permit, reflecting a thoughtful approach to modern yachting that balances performance with a reduced environmental footprint.

The inaugural season showcases some of Europe's most captivating coastlines. Remaining Mediterranean voyages explore the French and Italian Rivieras, Corsica, Sardinia and Sicily before the yacht crosses the Atlantic for its Caribbean season. In 2027, it returns to the Mediterranean from spring through fall, with additional itineraries through the Adriatic and Northern Europe during the summer. Smaller ports and harbours - often beyond the reach of larger vessels - create opportunities for a more intimate connection with the places visited.

For travelers who have already experienced the world's finest hotels, private villas and iconic rail journeys, Orient Express Corinthian offers something refreshingly different. The exclusive number of suites creates an atmosphere that feels closer to a private yacht than a traditional cruise ship, while the emphasis on sailing encourages a deeper appreciation for the sea itself.

For longer than a century, Orient Express has shaped and refined an approach to extraordinary journeys. And Corinthian carries that legacy forward, toward a new horizon. When you're ready to set your course, your travel advisor can help you plan the voyage that's right for you.
