Women-Focused Adventures

Small-group tour provider Intrepid believes the world needs more women at the forefront, and our travel agency couldn’t agree more. Including immersive experiences focused on the roles of women around the world, the company has launched Women’s Expeditions that go beyond traditional tourism to amplify voices for gender equality. The resulting tours seamlessly combine adventure travel and female empowerment into one.

What Makes Intrepid’s Women’s Expeditions Special:

  • Small, women-only groups — Group sizes are limited to 12 travelers, which is small enough to connect with local women but big enough to create a good social mix.
  • Women lead the way — Trips are led exclusively by women who can give you women-centered insights into the culture.
  • Impactful experiences — Intrepid partners with women-led businesses, social enterprises and NGOs to provide authentic cultural experiences that directly support the livelihoods of women and girls.
  • Travel with confidence — Since safety is one of the biggest concerns for solo female travelers, these journeys provide a sense of support and solidarity knowing you’re all looking out for one another.
