Hiking and National Parks Adventurer
Hiking in Utah
Every day, I'm amazed at all the beauty on this great big planet of ours. From beaches to prairies, deserts to mountains, nature is a universal language. No matter where you live, what language you speak, the tranquility and peacefulness of nature affects us all.
I'm fortunate enough to live an hour away from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and ever year, spend countless weekends camping and hiking with my husband and our three dogs. But my hiking isn't limited to just my hometown - if I can squeeze it in, I'm hiking on vacation.
One of my most memorable trips was the three days I spent in Utah following a business trip. I could stare at those mountain views for the rest of my life, and they'd never grow old. Alaska and Montana were the same way, but then again, so are the Smokies each summer. There's just something about a mountain range that soothes the soul.

I was in Utah a few years ago for my day job, and I was able to spend a couple of extra days exploring the area with a coworker. Most of the trip was business, but the 3 short days we had free were full of taking in Utah's heart-stopping scenery.
