Travel has become a necessity in my life. Growing up, I was able to experience a handful of international locales, spurring on my desire to experience cultures from all over the globe. It was only natural to extend my passion from my own personal travel, to helping others with their exciting vacations! You'll notice I have specialities in European Culture and Adventure Travel. Those are definitely my favorite types of travel, but I also enjoy helping people plan independent, solo trips and family vacations as well. I have traveled many places on my own alone and find it to be exhilarating as it demands that you interact with locals and experience the traditions and events of your destination. I also have children of my own and have brought them with on international trips - I know traveling with children has different restrictions and delights. So, whatever your desire, let me help you plan the perfect vacation for you!

Amazing Iceland Trip

Kara was with us from the planning stage up to the day we departed for Iceland. She provided us with all the information we needed to plan the trip as well as take precautionary measures regarding travel insurance and COVID-19 testing requirements. She encouraged us to ask questions and was prompt to answer them. I would highly recommend her to anyone who was wanting to take a trip and needed assistance in arranging that trip. You can't go wrong by going to Kara.

Family trip to Mexico

Just returned from a trip to Azul Beach Resort Riviera Maya outside Cancun, Mexico. It was a wonderful trip made so much easier because Kara handed all travel plans and reservations. She was great at anticipating questions and taking care of details I hadn't even thought about. And you really appreciate her reminders and pack list! Will be going with her again for sure.

Hawaiian adventure

We had a great time....the hotel was the best pick ever...very homey and the "last true Hawaiian" resort according to the guests we met. We had great weather and saw a lot of whales daily! Loved it!! We got in on the ground floor which was the best, as it was a patio with a table and chairs facing the pool....lots of room to chill out and take a break from the sun, while still enjoying the scenery. Thank you so much...

Florida trip brought me life and was seamless

It was fantastic to just "show up" and still make the most of my time in Florida. Kara was realistic with time frames and considerate of costs, yet I still felt like I had some of the best food and experiences I could possibly have.It was also comforting with how knowledgeable she was when it came to covid guidelines/restrictions. I felt so prepared and it was so seamless.
If you are looking to travel I would recommend two things. Do it soon (everyone is antsy to travel again!) and work with Kara! You won't regret it.

Just the right options for me!

Kara was a great help in planning my trip to Iceland and France! She spent a lot of time sorting through different options to find the exact flights, hotels and attractions that I wanted.She even found a unique opportunity in Paris - private cooking lessons in an amazing 19th century apartment - that I would never in a million years have found for myself. Travel Agent with personal touch!

Much more than we expected! Initially, I wasn't sure that we needed a travel agent since those sites like Travelocity seemed to do what an agent could do. I couldn't have been more wrong!Instead of feeling overwhelmed by all the possibilities, Kara quickly narrowed down our options. As soon as we were satisfied, we booked! The cost of the flight was similar to what we would pay had we booked online ourselves.
Now for the best part-the personal touch. A week before our trip, Kara mailed us our itinerary and a very helpful travel checklist. These helped keep our stress levels low, since we didn't have to think about anything. She encouraged us to contact her if we had any problems on our trip and she checked in when we returned.
Booking through Kara elevated our trip from great to awesome! I will definitely use her services again!

Mazatlan family trip
