“Don’t wait for your ship to come in, swim out to it.” This is my absolute approach to travel. It’s easy to imagine yourself in Madrid, but not always so easy figuring out the best way to get there. I know how overwhelming it can be to plan a vacation, especially a trip of a lifetime. As a local twin cities certified travel agent, I am here to help!
While planning a vacation, what you don’t plan on is the awakening of your senses. Travel has a funny way of gently reminding you to stop and smell the roses. Or how about the springtime jasmine blooming along Spain’s golden coast? The mysterious waft of spices from the bustling local Moroccan market, where you’re tempted at every turn by fresh figs and honey-colored pastries. The sparkle of lights illuminating the Christmas market in Munich, while the glühwein you’re sipping warms your fingertips and your spirits. These are all experiences I’ve been lucky enough to have. I would feel fortunate to be able to give these gifts of true, genuine travel to you.
Having someone who understands the ins and outs of travel means a hassle-free, well-planned vacation without putting in all the time and research. Most importantly, it means getting you to that destination you’ve been dreaming of!
Though I’ve traveling throughout Europe-Spain isn’t just a place I’ve traveled to, it’s a place I’ve called my home. Somewhere along the dusty roads lined with gnarled olive trees, the sun-soaked hills (the red wine!) and the bustling life on the cobblestone streets, I was hooked. This is a country I am passionate about, from the Emerald coast to the tip of Gibraltar. I have an intimate insight on the culture and customs. I can walk you through everything from finding the best place to watch a Flamenco show, what time of day to get the most authentic paella, to navigating the endless array of tapas and wines that are awaiting you. Spain is known for living its vibrant culture on the streets. People rarely stay indoors, which not only gives you a great opportunity to gain local insight, but a warm feeling of welcome. Let me show you the Spain that inspired Ernest Hemingway and captivated Ava Gardner and countless others.
But my love affair doesn’t end there… Traveling to 10 different countries in Europe has given me a great appreciation for all that Europe has to offer. I am lucky to have friends and family around the world, so not only have I been to a lot of cities, I’ve experienced many of them through the eyes of a local. I have hiked the coast of Cinque Terre, sampled Easter in Prague (and beer and chocolate in Belgium), and spent afternoons riding my bicycle around Berlin. When it comes to planning a European vacation, there are endless options to navigate. I can help you explore your options and design a streamlined vacation that will maximize your time and your enjoyment in destination, not to mention your budget. Whether it’s sipping sangria on the white sandy beaches of San Sebastian, experiencing the wonders of a local market, or going off-the-beaten path for a unique perspective of a different culture. I can take you there!
