Inca Trail Hike in Peru, 14000 ft above sea level!
I began traveling at an early age and grew up with a passion to explore unfamiliar places. I have visited 29 states and 21 countries, and am always looking to scratch new cities, countries, and continents off my (never-ending) bucket list.
I graduated from Elon University in 2014, which places a strong emphasis on study abroad and the value of a global education. While at Elon, I took a three-week Communications course traveling around western Europe, and the next year I was lucky enough to live and study for a semester on the east coast of Australia. After graduation, I moved to France and spent one year living with a French family in Versailles, just outside Paris. During these periods, I wasn’t merely a tourist quickly touching on must-see sights in a short amount of time, but I was able to deeply explore these foreign cultures and discover the nooks and crannies of each city.
The best part about living in France (besides the fresh-baked croissants and baguettes) was how easy and inexpensive it was to travel to other cities in Europe. I took full advantage of this (as well as the abundance of French vacation days!), and visited cities such as Nice, Rome, Seville, and Budapest, familiarizing myself with inter-city transportation and navigation. I believe my time spent living abroad has given me a unique outlook on traveling, and I can translate these experiences to my clients to ensure a spectacular vacation. My warm and friendly personality makes it easy for me to connect with people, and my passion for traveling reveals itself in any trip-related conversation, which gets them excited to go! I bring a fresh and knowledgeable perspective to traveling, providing my clients with practical and realistic expectations while at the same time sparking their enthusiasm.
My ideal vacation involves equal amounts of relaxation and adventure; in addition to Australia and my extensive travel through Europe, I am well-versed in Caribbean cruises and all-inclusive resorts in Mexico, where travelers can enjoy the best of both worlds. One of my favorite vacations was spent in Costa Rica, where I hiked to a secret beach, spent a few hours sunbathing on the sand, and ziplined through the rainforest all in one day! In the past year I have traveled to Ireland, Peru, and Los Cabos, experiencing a variety of activities, both adventurous and relaxing. Whether you want to rail-hop around Europe, hike through the mountains in South America, or relax on the beach with a cocktail in hand, I can help you prioritize your desires to create the perfect vacation!
