Leisure Travel Planner
The idea of travel is seductive. You see yourself carousing the streets of Paris, tipsy with wine and love. Or lying sundrenched in the Caribbean sipping native rum and fresh pineapple juice over shaved ice. The reality of travel is much diferent, and many times trips don't work out the way the traveler wanted them to.
It makes sense when you think about it. You're transporting your dreams, hopes, wants needs, concerns, and expectations to a part of the world you probably have never been to before. So many things have to go right for you to have a great and memorable experience.
I make no bones about why I believe most trips don't measure up to what we want them to be. It's the internet. I love the internet and use it every day for all the same things you do. But what I would never do -- and what I don't think anyone should ever do -- is use the internet in place of an experienced travel planner.
Like you, I love travel. I've been to almost all 50 states (including Hawaii), the Caribbean (Aruba, Grenada, Puerto Rico, all 3 US Virgin Islands, the British Virgin Islands, St. Martin, Dominica, Barbados, Martinique, Jamaica, Dominican Republic, Grand Cayman, the Bahamas and Turks & Caicos), Europe (Amsterdam and Paris), the Middle East (Israel and Jorday) and all over Mexico, Canada and even Oceana (Guam, Yap and Palau).
But what I believe makes me unique as a travel planning professional is the way I relate to people and my ability to match a client's needs and wants with the property that is right for them. I started my career in HR as I loved working with people, but what I discovered I loved most was helping people plan their leisure travel. That was the beginning of what led me to become a professional travel planner, which has been my sole professional focus since 2012.
Travel agents are everywhere. I consider myself a Travel Therapist because I take the time to get to know you and to understand your travel dreams. Too many websites and travel agents rush into the details. There's a time for that. But first, I need to fully understand your deepest travel dreams. Then I can use my wealth of travel planning experience and resources to make your trip everything you want it to be.
The last thing I want to tell you about me is that while I have planned travel all over the world for clients, I do have a specialty in Caribbean and Mexico travel especially as a destination for Destination Weddings, Honeymoons, Family Vacations and Scuba Diving. That's my idea of heaven, and I've done a lot of it. If that's what you're in to, let's get you into travel therapy ASAP and let the journey begin.
