Whether it’s cocktails on your private balcony or cocktails on the beach, choose the cruise line and itinerary that is the best fit for you. If you’re traveling with younger children, a cruise line that has a top rated children’s program, family staterooms or connecting staterooms will be important. If you’re traveling with your sweetheart for a romantic getaway you want to look for a cruise line that suits your interests - maybe a couples massage, dinner for two at one of the world class specialty restaurants on board.
You also might want to consider a suite or spa suite to enhance your vacation. When choosing an Itinerary things to consider are how many ports do you want to experience and explore? Would you rather go to a museum or on a tour or relax on the white sands of Aruba watching the Azure blue water gently roll in and out? How much time would you like to have with nothing to do and nowhere to be? Your only concern for the day is making new friends and trying that new cocktail of the day.
Some of my favorite things to do Cozumel – Swim with Dolphins, Grand Cayman – Swim with Sting Rays, St. Maarten – Jet Ski at Orient Beach, Virgin Gorda – The Baths collecting sea shells, Aruba – White Sand Beaches, Roatan – Zip Line, St. Lucia – The Pitons, Jamaica – Horse Back riding to name a few. We’ve sailed on Celebrity, Carnival, NCL, MSC and Royal Caribbean. I can’t say that there is a favorite because each is as individual as you and I are. They all have their own unique personality and that varies from ship to ship within a brand.
It doesn’t matter how many times I visit some of the same ports I always seem to discover something new each time!
