Expedition Everest at Disney's Animal Kingdom Park
I visited Walt Disney World for the very first time when I was just five years old. The moment I set foot on Main Street USA, I was hooked.
After this debut Disney adventure, I found myself returning to Orlando nearly every year. In high school, many of my peers thought they were too cool for Disney World, but not me -- I understood that this collection of theme parks was the epitome of cool.
This Disney obsession did not subside after high school, but rather, transitioned into my current fascination with introducing others to the wonders of Orlando. The satisfaction of planning successful Disney adventures is particularly noteworthy when I've managed to put together a successful trip for a family clearly in need of assistance.
Such was the case when I booked a trip for a good friend, her husband and their eight kids. Although this was a last-minute vacation, I was able to ensure that the entire family made it to Orlando in time for Disney's amazing Halloween party. All of the kids managed to check off the various items on their vacation to-do lists and the parents never felt frenzied.
Although the basic element of joy at Disney World remains the same, its rides, shows and resorts are always changing. I make keeping up to date with these changes a priority, and, as such, I find myself spending a great deal of time researching all of the Disney parks' developments. The best way, of course, to remain a Disney expert is to visit Orlando on a regular basis. In addition to touring the parks, I make a point of participating in onsite training. As a result, I am always prepared to fill clients in on the latest and greatest Disney developments!
I adore everything about Disney vacations, but I also recognize that, for the traveler unfamiliar with the ins and outs of Orlando, the Disney experience can be incredibly overwhelming. I am anxious to help my clients minimize the stress associated with vacation planning, all while ensuring that they enjoy the best that the Disney parks have to offer.
