Darla helped our family with a complicated set of travel issues for our daughter, a college student who traveled to China for a one-month class.

From the outset, Darla was wonderfully thorough and responsive in addressing our questions, and never lost her patience with the various travel options we explored. She then obtained the flights we sought, including the seat choices our daughter preferred, and helped us look into appropriate travel insurance.

THEN, after the whole trip was in place, on very short notice she helped us change the itinerary when our daughter's circumstances suddenly changed, and even helped us get (very unlikely) refunds for much of the cost of the original tickets.

While I don't think one can reasonably assume that Darla can always get refunds for changed travel, I think it is totally reasonable to assume she will be patient, careful, attentive, and helpful. Because she is all that!

It is really nice when I can find some thing about a trip I may like and send it to her and she finds out all details, prices, and alternative choices for the trips I might like. It is so time saving and she knows shortcuts I don't have access to. My latest vacation to French Polynesia Islands was over the top and I invested barely anytime into scheduling it and a lot of time fully relaxing and enjoying myself on the vacation.

The best travel agent ever
I wanted to share just how helpful Darla has been in our travels. Because one of our trips was International, I had a myriad of questions. She was always so pleasant to work with. She got back to me promptly and was always so helpful. We went through many brochures to pick the perfect place to celebrate our big day. It is important to us that when we have questions the person return a call quickly. She did that in every instance. Working one on one with her was a joy. I would highly recommend Darla to anyone with future travel plans.

Darla helped us plan two trips in 2016: a three-generation trip to Disney World and a trip for the two of us to Alaska.

For the Disney trip, Darla got us a suite in the Bay Lake Lodge with a view of the Magic Kingdom. We were able to see the nightly fireworks from our balcony. She made dinner reservations at a variety of restaurants, most with appearances by Disney characters and all with great food choices. Our grandkids still talk about their Disney vacation.

Darla and I worked together to create a fabulous 2 week trip to Alaska ending with a 7 day cruise from Seward to Vancouver. Every stop on our tour - from gold dredge tours to riverboat cruises to train rides to sled dog tours went off without a hitch. Our itinerary showed us where and when we should be for our next stop. We enjoyed 4 days in Fairbanks, 4 days in Denali National Park, 4 days in Anchorage and 4 days in Seward before boarding our cruise. It was the trip of a lifetime!

Darla was very helpful in the planning of our trip. She was provided information and was very professional in making our reservations, creating documents and responding to questions we had.

So, I might be biased since Darla is my mother-in-law, but she is an absolutely fantastic travel agent! She organized our honeymoon to Hawaii this past August and it was absolutely wonderful! She is also planning a family trip to Iceland this June and is extremely knowledgable on any questions or concerns you may have. She loves to travel, has been so many different places, and you can tell that she loves her work through the service and help she gives!
