Travel is not just what I do. It has been my life. 

I have worked in the travel industry since 1977 and started my own agency in 1983. But I don't just sit at a desk and book vacations for other people. I also love to travel, so I have personal knowledge of many destinations and understand what it takes to put together a perfect travel itinerary designed especially for you. 

For example, a rookie traveler trying to make their own arrangements might:

* Choose a flight because it appears to have the shortest itinerary. Only later do they realize that the flight involved connecting flights, and that there wasn't enough time for them to make their next plane. 

* Select a hotel with a low price and nice pictures that they found on the Internet. But when they arrive, they discover that the hotel is in a high-crime area. 

Situations such as these point out the importance of working with an agent like me who has booked countless flights over the years and who has also visited many destinations in person. I am very familiar, for example, with the American West, especially Arizona, Nevada and California, as I winter in Phoenix every year. And because I live in Michigan the rest of the year, I'm also very knowledgeable about the Midwest. 

Do you need insider tips on how to get the most out of your next Disney World vacation?  Because my daughter once worked at Disney in Orlando, I have visited the parks and the area more than 20 times over the years and have accumulated a wealth of money- and time-saving tips. 

While I love booking all types of trips, I do have a fondness for helping travelers heading to Australia. Not only is it is my all-time favorite personal destination -- this immense country also has so much to offer travelers.
