Kick Back and Relax with the Ocean at your feet &

I can only bless the family that created a childhood of Travel across the United States from coast to coast, south into Mexico and included the wonders of nature through the lakes in the Midwest and Canada.

By the time I had graduated from the University of Iowa, I was ready for my first tour across Europe for the entire summer from England to Italy, came home only to pack for about two years in Australia with stopovers in Hawaii and Fiji on the way.

Upon my return to the USA, I finished my Masters Degree and had checked off the final of the 50 states by cruising  and touring Alaska.  My business training, which had started at the age of 14 working for our family business, combined with my interest in all types of Travel to work for, then own Deseret Travel. Completed training and received Certified Travel Counselor designation within minimum time allowance.  

My goal of visiting every country in the world has led to a check off of over 65 countries.  But if you count the virtual tours and cruises I have taken with my clients - I can include every continent and even more countries. 

This is how I view the Travel I book for my clients as if it were my trip with them. What would I like to do and see?  How would I like to travel, by cruise, tour, car?  Who is going with us?  Do they need special services, wheelchair assistance, non-stop flights?  When is the best time to go, the weather great, or the festivals, or the places open to visitors?  Why do we want to go to this location?  Is this a retreat from daily life, a goal for the spirit, a chance to see and do something to add to life's value?  Where is the best place for us to be, on a ship to experience the ocean's wonders, on a train to cross long expanses or mountains,on a river to slow down the pace but see the lifelines of its shores, on a bus whose driver and guide know the nooks and crannies of the area, or driving to experience the individual path?    

If the family is booking a Destination Wedding or Reunion, I can be the observant guest who can turn possible pitfalls into joyous experiences.  If a couple is planning a Honeymoon, I can guide them through their choices and budget to a lifetime memory.  If there is an emergency, I can get them home to friends and family.  The Vacation which has been delayed too long and seems too short can become a relief and the true down time needed with my help. Or the Girls or Guys Getaway can renew the ties of friendship with my attention to details.
