Puerto Vallarta a Pacific "Jewel"
The church & the Bay of Banderas Puerto Vallarta
If you close your eyes for a moment I’d love to take you for a quick stroll through one of my favorite Mexican destinations. There's a plethora of art, jewelry and clothing shops to wander through, and your appetite will certainly be satisfied no matter cuisine is on your mind. More than likely, making a choice will be the biggest issue of the day. Seafood is a specialty here, so make sure to take the time to enjoy the local favorites, served to you on a platter within hours of being pulled from the sea. Talk about fresh, talk about delicious! And where you might be asking, "Do they serve these wonderful gifts from the sea?" Just pull up a seat at just about any restaurant in Puerto Vallarta, and name your pleasure. It’s as easy and delicious as it sounds. Ocean salty oysters swimming in fresh lime juice are my absolute favorite.
Are you one of those people who love art and glass of wine? How about open air wine bistros, looking out over an array of maritime and regional sculptures that line Puerto Vallarta's pedestrian boulevard called The Malacon? The Malacon follows the curved and dimpled shoreline through the city. When visiting the city of Puerto Vallarta, you get all of this and perfect Pacific sunsets nearly every day.
If you are looking for mermaids, shopping, and art…in that order, this is the place to go.
Where is the best place to stay while in Puerto Vallarta? That's not a question with an easy answer, because the answer truly depends on you, and that's where I come in. If it's sunsets, since Puerto Vallarta is on a crescent shaped bay, the location of the resort really does matter. Not all resorts are positioned to see the sunsets. Maybe you are looking for an absolutely adult only property with an aire of romance or maybe you just need an adult only area because you are bringing kids, but you also want just some alone time. Are you a beach walker, or is your vision a covered beach with no intrusive foot traffic from other resorts?
Puerto Vallarta is truly a "jewel" of a destination. Ask me how to choose the perfect jewel for you.

Destination Wedding Dream Come True
I was nervous due to the fact that it looked like our flight might be cancelled. I got a call from Bonnie around 10am the morning before our departure letting me know that they were monitoring the storm, and would update not only us, but all of our travelers to any potential issues as they might be announced by the airline. Mother nature was good to us, we all departed on time and arrived perfectly.
The wedding went off without a hitch. So much more than I ever could have imagined, because of the initial guidance that led us to Sandals Whitehouse.
