Europe Travel Specialist
Bordeaux Miroir d'eau
Do you dream of traveling to Belgium and exploring it like a local? Or are your dreams about visiting Germany or some other Western European country? If so, let me use my wealth of knowledge to help you make those dreams a reality.
Although I now live in South Carolina, I previously lived and worked in Belgium for more than 20 years.
In addition, I also worked for seven years arranging international travel along with international events at the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Headquarters in Brussels. And for the past nine years, I have been helping leisure travel clients, especially those who may have trouble stepping outside of their comfort zone, enjoy amazing, culturally enriching adventures.
During my time in Europe, I also lived and visited numerous other countries, including: Czech Republic, Italy, England, France, the Netherlands, Germany, and the United Kingdom.
Sandals Certified Specialist
As a Sandals certified specialist, it is incumbent upon me to visit the various Sandals Resorts so that I know which one will meet my customer’s specific requirements. During my most recent trip to Jamaica, I visited Sandals South Coast, Sandals Royal Caribbean, and Sandals Montego Bay. I discovered that each of these resorts is unique and will draw certain types of clientele such as golfers, scuba divers, or brides-to-be. But the one thing about Sandals is that regardless of which one a client chooses, they are in for a truly a 5 star experience!

The châteaux, the food and the wine are what the Loire Valley is all about. My experience started in Tours, France. I spent several hours in its medieval city center. Repositioning Cruise
What is a repositioning cruise? My first experience with this was on MSC Divina; I departed Miami, Florida for a 19-night cruise repositioning the ship from the Caribbean and on into the Mediterranean. Transatlantic Cruising
My first transatlantic cruise was on Cunard’s Queen Mary 2 (QM2). We boarded in Southampton, England and disembarked in Brooklyn, New York. Kathy was instrumental in planning a dream vacation!
Leave the details to her!
She did fantastic work for me! She took care of everything, and got me plane reservations that were roughly HALF the price of what I had found myself. She also found and booked my hotel and rental car reservations. She was available every time I had a question, was very knowledgeable about Europe and travel in general, and was a pleasure to talk to throughout the whole process. It was definitely worth the small amount she charged as an agent fee. If I have to travel to Europe again, my first call will be to her.

Germany- Perfectly Planned!
Two things that were must-do on our list were visiting castles and going to Oktoberfest. Katherine picked a wonderful Castle day trip. It was perfect. She secured Oktoberfest tickets for us, all we had to do was show up and we were greeted by a local who gave us a history of Oktoberfest and a tour of the festival. We had a table ready and waiting for us in the tent.
All of her transportation suggestions were perfect. She is so pleasant to talk to and quick to respond.
We look forward to booking another trip through Katherine!
