Have an Emergency? Contact Me HereSingapore Travel Agent Planner
As your travel agent planner for Singapore, I can promise you that you're in for a travel treat. While the sovereign island nation is often confused with China, it is distinctly separate. The country subverts traditional images with its on-trend boutiques and contemporary architectural designs. It also is home to temples, pockets of jungle, and fantastic sites, such as the country's National Gallery, Botanic Gardens, and National Museum. Inside the National Gallery, I suggest a visit to the DBS Gallery (supported by the DBS Bank), titled Siapa Nama Kamu? That means, "What is Your Name?" in Malay. The gallery displays a a nice overview of Singaporean artwork from the 1800s to today. The Portrait of Lee Boon Ngan in Gallery 2 is a must see attraction. The lady's collar in the art piece really sparkles in the gallery light. The woodblock prints are dynamic too. One of the prints, "Seascape," represents the collaboration of six artists. A trip to the National Museum is a major undertaking, as the museum is full of so much to do and see. The imaginative venue warrants two visits, as it is home to multimedia galleries that bring Singaporean history to life. During your visit, you will learn about Malay royalty, twentieth century riots, reinventions, fashions, foods, and films. The botanic gardens are also unlike any botanic gardens you've ever seen. Say hello to future endeavors in horticulture and botany. The magical green enclave is a place where space-age biodomes and whimsical sculptures are seen over a sprawling expanse of reclaimed land. Nature lovers and architectural buffs both find the Botanic Gardens’ Gardens by the Bay an urban planning marvel and beautiful city space - home to over 1.5 million plants from around the planet. If you are a foodie, you have to visit Gluttons Bay. The outside hawker stalls were chosen by the Makansutra Food Guide as one of the best places to begin a food odyssey. You can choose from tasty cuisine, such as oyster omelette, satay, the black version or carrot cake, or barbecue stingray. The central bayside location makes it a popular site. I suggest heading to the place early or later so you won't spend all of your time trying to find a table. Am I sharpening your appetite for and interest in travel? I know you will find, as I do as a travel agent professional, that Singapore is one adventure you don't want to miss. Why not call me or email me today when you have a minute?
