Pembroke Pines, Florida Travel Agent
Family Travel Consultant and Europe Specialist
I was born in New York City and was very interested in the different cultures and languages around me. From an early age, I experienced a yearning to see the places that I would hear people talk about. I experienced the same when I moved to Florida and was surrounded by many different cultures and languages. I studied Anthropology and Psychology in college, which furthered my interest in other cultures and travel. After I married and had children, my husband and I had a business for many years and I would arrange travel for the company. Eventually we sold the company and I decided to further my education and earned a Travel Agent Certification at Florida International University. I then worked as an intern in a Miami Lakes travel agency and upon graduation was offered a job there. I started by doing the accounting for Trams and collections. I was a quick learner and because of my own extensive travel and my newly acquired experience, I became a travel consultant. I stayed there for 8 years until the office was sold to Travel Leaders and the office was moved to Weston.
During this time, I traveled all over the world to many exotic destinations, including Antarctica, Australia, Asia, New Zealand, Africa and South America. I have traveled nearly every year to Europe and throughout the U.S. I enjoy helping families decide what is best for them, such as escorted tours, cruises or independent travel. I like the challenge of complex trip planning and handling the logistics required to get people where they want to go to see and experience their travel desires. I am proud to say that I have worked with some of the best travel professionals in the industry!
