French Wine Enthusiast
Wine tasting in the Fronsac region of Bordeaux
Do you want to learn more about French wines, the different appellations, the grapes and how the Terroir impacts the flavor and quality of the wine? Do you want to taste wines in intimate, family owned wineries and Chateaus with an unmistakable "sense of place?"
I have traveled throughout many French Wine Appellations, visiting wineries in Bandol, Beaujolais, Bordeaux, Cassis, Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Côtes de Blaye, Côtes de Bourg, Côtes de Provence, Côtes du Rhône, Fronsac, Haut-Médoc, Hermitage, Pauillac, Pomerol, Saint-Émilion, Saint-Julien and Sauternes. I also consult with Distributors and Wine Merchants in planning French Wine Tasting events for charities.
I am an enthusiast for all wines and have a hearty collection from Napa and Sonoma, but what makes French wines special and different in the communal aspects of the wines, the Terroir and the AOC.
River cruises are a great way to visit Bordeaux and the Rhone Valley and I can curate a custom French wine tasting itinerary. I have great connections in Burgundy and Pommard.
I welcome the chance to share more of my knowledge, wisdom and insights with you.
