The glens near Ft. William and Ben Nevis
Scotland is full of beautiful scenery, especially its western side and the Highlands.
There are many ferries from many beautiful little seaports to the islands like Skye or the Orkneys, where you are never far from the sea. Each bend and turn of the road brings a new landscape to your eyes as you are surrounded by mountains as you pass through deep valleys filled with glacial lakes or meandering rivers.
Or why not explore the mountians and glens north of Glasgow as you make your way from famous Loch Lomond, through Glencoe and on to historic Ft. William. From Ft. William you can wind your way north along the many lochs and villages until you arrive at Inverness, the gateway to the Highlands!
For history and a cosmopolitan experience be sure to visit Edinburgh where 400 years of history moves along the Royal Mile as you travel from Edinburgh Castle to Holyrood Palace, where Queen Elizabeth stays if she is ever in Edinburgh.
Scotland awaits you!
