Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Travel Agent
Orlando and Disney Family Vacation Specialist
When I was a young woman the one thing I wanted to do is travel. I remember sitting in my room looking out the window wondering what the sky looked like from another country.
When my family did take vacation, I immediately jumped in to helped plan every detail. It gave me great joy to research all the options and find something fun for everyone on our trips.
This is why I started a travel agency!
I want to help families create vacation memories of their own and answer the question "what does the sky look like from somewhere else".
Part of the reason I love Disney so much is that you can feel like you are in many different places at once! Each time my family travels to Disney World we find something new to enjoy, which means it's a trip we will likely continue making for many years to come.
I've become known as the Disney planner among my friends and family. Not merely because of my own trips, but because I have immersed myself in everything they have to offer.
- I completed the College of Disney Knowledge and then became a specialist for every theme park in Orlando, Florida. I wanted to make sure that my family and my friend's family got the best vacation possible.
- I was so fascinated by what Orlando had to offer that I went on to get my specialist certification for Orlando and Florida as a whole. It amazes me that there is such a wide variety of things to do in Florida outside the theme parks.
My friends are now my clients, I take care of every aspect of their trip from airport transportation and airfare to hotel, dining reservations and theme park tickets. I give them full service so that all they need to do is pack and go.
Why I love family travel
My favorite vacation memory was my first vacation to Hollywood, California last May. It was the first time my son and I went on a vacation without our extended family. In another year he'll leave for college and we really needed some time together. We did a whirlwind of traveling, first Disneyland, then Universal Studios and finally the California Science Center. The absolute awe in his face when he saw the space shuttle Endeavor made the whole trip worth it.
