Adventures come in all shapes and sizes. When I was young, I thought I might like to work in the travel industry but ended up graduating from Indiana University with a major in fine art and metalsmithing. I’ve been following the path of jewelry design for a while now, and still enjoy it. But that little voice in my head that seeks adventure spoke to me and said, “Now is the time to revisit your passion for travel as a vocation!”
And so, here I am. My love for travel has introduced me to amazing places like Iceland, Ireland, and New York City. Those destinations are vastly different from one another, yet they all have their own unique, remarkable beauty. I loved the almost mystical quality of Iceland. The quiet isolation in remote areas felt like being on another planet! On the other hand, the hustle and bustle of New York City is amazing as well. To see so many people living in that small of an area, and to see it working well is nothing short of a miracle. Regardless of what you’ve heard about NYC, the people are nice and helpful — it’s truly a snapshot of how humanity can work together.
Another interest of mine is Genealogy. I’m very close to my extended family and we enjoy traveling together. In researching my ancestry, I found that during a previous trip to the beautiful island of Ireland we had actually visited a little town in which our own Irish ancestors lived 200 years ago! My parents and I had loved that town. Who knows — maybe we had a natural affinity for it because of those bygone relatives.
My most important job as a travel advisor is to really listen to my clients. It’s important to me to get to the heart of what you want from your travel experience, and then deliver on that expectation. As my client, I will use my many resources as an agent to make that happen for you while saving you the time and stress of planning on your own. No two travelers are the same, and I know that my enthusiasm and excitement for your chosen journey will help make your trip even more special.
