I have been customizing and planning personalized luxury vacations since 1999. I pride myself on my attention to detail and impeccable personal service. They have become my hallmarks in travel planning. My drive and dedication to each and every client is of the utmost importance to me.

I grew up and have resided in the Mankato area my entire life. I currently live in Lake Crystal and am raising my son, Lucas. I graduated from Dakota County Technical College in Rosemount, Minnesota in 1998. I have a Diploma in Travel Planning. I am a Certified Travel Associate certified by The Travel Institute. The CTA designation, conferred by The Travel Institute, marks the pinnacle of travel industry professionalism.  CTAs are required to complete a rigorous academic program and exam, possess at least five years of full-time experience, and follow a continuing education regimen to remain current on the latest travel trends. I am also a Luxury Lifestyle Specialist. I have been certified as a specialist from Sandals Resorts, Disney Vacations, Holland America Cruises and Trafalgar Tours.

My expertise is in customized itineraries, luxury cruises and tours, adventure travel, history tours, honeymoons, romantic getaways and world cruises, as well as travel for large groups, businesses, destination weddings and family reunions.

I was an award winning Travel Agent for over 14 years at AAA Travel in Mankato, MN. At AAA Travel, I earned the Presidents Elite for top sales in 2007, 2008, 2010, 2011 and 2012.  In 2013, I opened my own agency called Amber Pietan Travel Agency. I quickly established myself and began personalizing travel for my beloved clients in lower North Mankato. Since opening my agency, I have received the Outside Agents Outstanding Sales Achievement Award in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 & 2017!

I am a seasoned and dedicated traveler! As a child, my family and I traveled the United States extensively. As an adult, I have traveled to Mexico, England, Spain, Greece, the Dominican Republic, Hawaii, Africa and Jamaica. I also had the opportunity to enjoy a fabulous Alaskan Cruise.

My moto is “Without a Travel Agent you are on your own”. Own your own, planning a trip today can be confusing, costly, and time consuming.
