Memories in Costa Rica

Tabacon Grand Thermal Hot Springs
Tabacon Grand Thermal Hot Springs

In January of 2012 I experienced the wonders of Costa Rica. This two-week trip was one of my absolute favorites because I was able to see and do so much in a short amount of time.

During my getaway I stayed in the Jaco area and was able to travel to some of the parks in the surrounding area. Places like Carara National Park and Manuel Antonio National Park were ideal for sight-seeing, animal and bird viewing, and feeling the transformative power of nature.

I was fortunate enough to stay in Santa Elena and explore the Monteverde Cloud Forest, where I hiked to the Continental Divide and spent an afternoon at Sky Trek Adventures. There I took the Sky Tram up to the mountainside and zip lined down eight cables across canyons and above tree tops. Staying in the Arenal area and at Tabacon Thermal Resort and Spa, a Leading Hotels of the World resort, were also highlights of my retreat. The entire experience was incredibly memorable.

Costa Rica is such a breathtakingly beautiful country. I fell in love during my trip and hope to move there eventually. Of course you don’t need to take my word for it, visit yourself and see why Costa Rica is a life-changing destination.
