It's hard to plan a vacation a year in advance, on a cruise, when your family is also hosting an exchange student from another country. But, we've managed to do just that, a few times.
Seeing the look on the student's face when they see the grand ships here in America, seeing how much they are experiencing something the never thought possible - not only an American year abroad but an adventure on the high seas and destinations in places like Freeport, Nassau, Grand Caymen, Montego Bay, Cozumel, Belize, Progresso or Costa Maya.
It's very rewarding. It's fun piling a family of 4, 3 large people, in an inside cabin - but you gotta know what deck to do that from so you don't go crazy. We've learned how to really get the best rooms for location, proximity to the things we want to do, or enjoy, and often times, just upgrading to an ocean view cabin and knowing where the best ones are on the various ships - requires a lot of research and product knowledge.
Being a cruise agent, and learning all this valuable information puts me in a position to be able to help my clients way more than a booking engine website. The opportunity to serve my clients and really help them get excited about their trip - is an adventure for me and my family of 3, and we're all involved in the travel business.
Enjoy a few photos of our Family Fun. My son's graduation cruise 2019. Carnival Valor's last sail from Galveston, TX. It was a great experience. And I learned so much about Belize, what NOT to do, and what you MUST do before getting off the ship.
Call me and let me help you customize a unique vacation on a cruise ship. My favorite, Carnival, Princess, Oceania and NCL and Holland America.
My dream cruise: Transatlantic Cunard.
