My Regent Seven Seas Experience
I have been able to sail on Regent Seven Seas several times and it has continued to delight and surprise me every single time. I love the fact that everything is included so up front you know the total cost of the trip. Unlike other mass market cruise lines you are never surprised on the last night, as I have been with a $600 bill for tours, beverages, specialty dining etc.
All of these things are included plus domestic or international air! Some of my favorite things about Regent (and there are SO many), are the specialty dining restaurants. There is never a charge to enjoy these, or the Shore Excursions.
Shore Excursions are complementary and you can sign up 300-350 days prior to sailing depending on cabin category. And just because they are free don't expect run of the mill generic excursions. At Cape Canaveral/Cape Kennedy I had lunch with an ASTRONAUT! And you are not limited to one per destination. If the timing permits as it did for me in Bermuda, you can fit in two at no additional cost.
Another benefit of Regent Seven Seas is that they sail small ships 479-750 maximum passengers. You never feel crowded and these ships can dock in smaller ports which are also less full of the mega ship passengers.
I would love to help you find the perfect ship and itinerary on board Regent, you won't be disappointed.
