Jody Everson -- Disney/Universal/Tropical

Jody has always been the planner for family vacations and friend getaways. There are a lot of “passenger princesses” in her life who are perfectly happy to let her handle the details! She turned that natural love of organizing and researching trips into a career helping families, friend groups, and couples create vacations they will never forget, and she has now been a travel advisor for 9 years. 

Being a travel advisor is definitely her dream job, well, after playing Elsa in the Mickey’s Royal Friendship Faire show at Magic Kingdom Park. She loves helping clients feel confident and excited about their trips while making the planning process feel easy and manageable. 

Before becoming a travel advisor, Jody worked in higher education for 10 years. Eventually, she decided to turn her lifelong love of theme parks, cruising, all-inclusive resorts, and vacation planning into a full-time career. Today, she helps clients plan vacations to Disney destinations, Universal, Disney Cruise Line, Mexico, the Caribbean, the Bahamas, and beyond. 

Jody is a Platinum Castaway Club member with Disney Cruise Line and travels often to stay current on the destinations and experiences she recommends. Favorite destinations include Cancun and Punta Mita, Mexico; Jamaica; the Bahamas; Colorado, Arizona, Utah, and of course SoCal and Orlando, Florida. She visits Disney and Universal destinations frequently throughout the year, giving her firsthand knowledge of the resorts, ships, parks, and logistics her clients can expect. 

“I often tell my clients that I care about their vacation more than they do!” Jody says. “I’m incredibly devoted to making sure my clients feel prepared, excited, and taken care of every step of the way.” 

As a mom to two kids, now 14 and 12, Jody understands both the magic and the realities of family travel through all the stages. She loves helping clients prioritize what matters most, avoid unnecessary stress, and leave room for those unforgettable moments that just happen along the way.
