In my opinion, in order to be a good travel agent you have to be well-traveled yourself. I generally will not book a trip for my clients to a destination unless I have visited the country or city myself. In the event that I do book a trip for my clients to a place that I have never visited, it's because I have a reliable source who can provide the same unique insight and knowledge into the destination as I would. I need to be incredibly confident about the custom itinerary that I am building, as this is the only way for my clients to feel relaxed and prepared for their upcoming travel experience.

As a travel agent, I personally love creating group itineraries for special occasions. Whether it's a bachelor or bachelorette getaway, a family reunion, or a company getaway, I am able to pull the entire group together for one exciting vacation. I take into account all of the necessary logistics, including coordinating arrangements for people from different destinations, scheduling and collecting payments, and finding a property that suits everyone's needs.

I can create customized itineraries for nearly any destination, but these are my favorite places to book:

• Costa Rica — Not only am I a Costa Rica destination specialist, but I've also visited this country several times myself.

• Cancun — I've planned destination weddings, bachelor and bachelorette parties to Cancun. It's an ideal destination for groups.

• Jamaica — I lived on this magnificent island for several years, so I can provide my clients with local insight and recommendations. It is one of my favorite places for destination weddings and honeymoons. 

• Dominican Republic- Another ideal location for group travel. The beaches are magnificent, great for beach lovers. 

• Europe (especially Italy) — I love to create multi-city tours that include planes, trains and automobiles. You can expect extra surprises along the way, such as a amazing foodie experiences. 

• Puerto Rico — This is a place where you can truly immerse yourself in the culture. The food, in particular, is delicious!
