Planning a trip for two is a project. Planning one for twenty is a part-time job nobody signed up for. Somebody has to hold the cabins, chase the deposits, answer the same question fourteen times, and keep track of who needs a ground-floor room and who doesn't eat shellfish. Usually that somebody is you. It doesn't have to be.

I plan group travel for people who want to share a trip without having to run it: multigenerational family trips, milestone birthdays and anniversaries, reunions, wine and supper clubs, alumni groups, and friends who have been saying "we should all go somewhere" for years.

Why River Cruises and Small Ships Work So Well for Groups

Most of the groups I plan end up on the water, and for good reason. Everyone unpacks once. Meals, excursions, and getting from one town to the next are already handled, so nobody spends the trip voting on where to eat. Small ships and river ships also keep your group together without leaving you lost in a crowd of thousands. Your group can explore together in the morning, split up in the afternoon, and meet back up for dinner without anyone having to coordinate it. Europe's rivers, Alaska's Inside Passage, and small-ship voyages are some of my favorite ways to bring a group together.

What I Handle

I secure group space early, while the best cabins and dates are still available. I manage the deposits, payment schedules, and the reminders that go with them, so you're not the one sending awkward "did you pay yet" texts. I track rooming, dietary needs, mobility considerations, and celebrations. I can arrange private touches like a group dinner, a wine tasting, or a shore excursion just for your group. Depending on the size of the group and the supplier, there may be group amenities or organizer benefits available, and I'll tell you up front what applies to your trip.

Then I stay with you from the first conversation to the welcome-home message. When something goes sideways, and with a group something eventually will, one person texts me and I take it from there.

Hard rock and live music are my happy place, and I'm proudly the Official Unofficial Travel Agent of the Shiprockers, the fans who sail ShipRocked. I'll be on board again in 2027, and I'm running a pre-cruise hotel block for our crew. So I know firsthand what it takes to get a group of very excited people to the same port at the same time. A Little Advice Before You Start

Group space on the best ships and sailings goes first, so the earlier we start, the more choices your group will have. If you're the organizer, the most useful thing you can bring to our first conversation is a rough headcount, a budget range, and a short list of must-haves. I'll take it from there.

My core specialties are luxury river cruising, small-ship expedition and ocean voyages, and curated land travel, and most of my groups combine at least one of them.
