Terri understands our needs, even when we can’t quite articulate them! She planned an eight day trip for my daughters and me from Vancouver to San Jose. We loved all of it!!

My husband and I have had two great experiences in the last year booking travel with Terri! She took the time to understand our travel goals, motivations, and preferences, and from that, she has made great recommendations for locations, hotels, and experiences. She’s also given us great long-term advice about how to meet many of our (lofty) family travel goals. Her communications are timely, clear, and creative (she even provided video summaries of the options she was proposing, so we don’t have to read all the details!). I would very highly recommend Terri and Big Rock Travel for anyone who wants to travel/loves to travel, but does not have the time/energy/focus to handle the research and details of making it happen! We told her our wish list and she really made it happen for us!

Terri listens closely to the customer to define the best travel/vacation plans. She makes sure you are satisfied and well planned out for your travel. She is flexible and can plan a large overseas trip for a family, or a romantic couples trip, or a fun local driving expedition.

Big Rock Travel & Terri was great in helping us plan our 2-week European vacation with teens! Originally it was planned for the summer of 2020 (Covid) and we finally got to go summer 2023! Terri helped us work with all the vendors to recover and rebook all our travel expenses. We have drastically different personalities in our family: from go-go-go to 4 hours/day of activity is too much and everything in between! We were able to accommodate everyone! Our hotels were perfectly located in each of the five cities we visited. One of my favorite parts of the service that Big Rock Travel provides is the App and daily itinerary. The App gave us our schedule but also allowed us to see the top sites in the areas you were visiting and to read about them in advance. Both parents and teens loved having access to this tool.

My wife and I could not be more pleased with the great job Terri did on our recent European trip. With great care and attention to detail, she helped us plan our 3 week trip to Germany, Spain, France, Montenegro, Malta, Greece and Italy. She listened carefully to our ideas and concerns and offered a variety of good options for hotels, transfers, excursions and travel insurance. In the process, she saved us money. As luck would have it, our plans changed shortly before our trip, so Terri had to scramble to change our flights. She again researched all the options and help us pick the best one. Terri was wonderful in planning our dream vacation. We had originally thought to tailor a pre-made tour through a company. When they said they no longer made changes to their basic packages, Terri helped us build the vacation we really wanted with another company. She had personalized suggestions for places to visit from her own experiences, which were beautiful. The app she put together had EVERYTHING we needed and more. It made our very busy days easy to navigate. She also provided ideas for things for us to do when we had down time in our schedules.

Terri planned an amazing vacation for our family. It was the perfect mix of all the experiences we were looking for in Costa Rica. Her planning and attention to detail, made it stress free for us. I worked with Terri several months before she planned our trip to Alaska. I must say she did an amazing job from our first conversation to executing our itinerary. She was very responsive and always replied to my emails in a timely manner. Terri had me download the trip plans app and boy was that a lifesaver. It had the entire itinerary listed along with recommended restaurants for each day that we were in Alaska. She made sure all of the hotels we stayed at were modern and up to date. I must say this was a very special trip for us as we were celebrating our anniversary. We took the train from Anchorage to Denali and Terri had us placed in the first car and our seats were very close to the front.
There were a few updates Terri received about our trip while we there. She communicated via text, email and the app ensuring we received the update. I will most definitely use Big Rock Travel in the future and I have already started referring clients to her!

My husband and I took our 3 kids (ages 4, 7, 9) to Italy and had a fantastic time! Working with Terri took the worry out of planning. Everything was organized in the app, and she considered all details. Terri was very responsive during the planning of the trip, and also during the trip. We would definitely use Terri again!! We just returned from a 2-week trip to Spain and Portugal created by Terri Weeks of Big Rock Travel and couldn't have been more pleased! This was a complicated trip involving 7 cities, 3 generations, 5 households, multiple travel dates, and last minute changes. Terri was a pro in coordinating all of the planning -- hotels, transportation, all of the tour guides and drivers -- and working with us to tweak the itinerary until we were completely satisfied. (She was even able to find a guide for a vague request we had to visit the escape route used by Allied pilots during WWII). Once overseas, we were in constant communication with the local travel agency that Terri worked with on our trip. The TripPlans app that Terri provided had our full itinerary, travel and hotel info, and even our trip insurance documents. It eliminated the binder of paper that I'm used to carrying on trips! We highly recommend Terri and Big Rock Travel!

Terri was absolutely awesome to work with and planned the perfect honeymoon for us. She made it all so easy with the Trip plans app. From booking some amazing reservations to finding direct flights and making car rental as seamless as possible, we truly could not have had the week we had without her. 10/10 recommend!

Terri was so easy to work with and was so patient with all of our changes and requests. This trip was originally planned for spring break 2021 but had to be cancelled due to medical reasons. Once we decided to try again our condo we wanted was gone for the summer, but Terri was able to get us the condo the week before school started which was so awesome! We stayed exactly where we wanted to be. We could walk to everything we wanted and was able to park our rental in the garage of the condo which was also awesome. It was an awesome trip for our family and amazing to go back to our honeymoon spot one more time.

What I appreciated was how she really pulled through a great package even though my travel plans were last minute and options were limited .. I had been so stressed trying to do it on my own . She really made a personal effort to make it a success for my specific needs .

This was our first time booking an all-inclusive trip in Mexico for us and our two daughters (9 & 7). Terri provided information on all the possible options and worked to get us as much as we could for our dollar. We chose Occidental at Xcaret and it was incredible! We all had such a good time. We felt like we were taken care of, and did not have to worry about the arrangements at all. Thanks, Terri!

I had a wonderful experience with Terri Weeks at Big Rock Travel! Without a doubt, I would use her again for my next trip. Terri was extremely helpful, and she made it easy for me to go on my trip overseas. I was dealing with some anxiety about traveling alone, especially since I had undergone a major surgery just 10 months prior. With Terri's advice and encouragement, I felt totally confident going into the trip, and I would go again without any qualms. Terri was able to find airline tickets for me at a really reasonable price, and she also helped me book my train connection in Germany, which enabled me to travel from one friend's house to another's quite easily. She even helped me straighten out an issue with my email address as I was checking in online the day before I took off. Prior to traveling, it was also really helpful to get Terri's emails that listed travel tips, including reminders to schedule pet care as well as give credit card companies a heads up. Terri helped me with the important details that I would have overlooked. I would definitely recommend using Big Rock Travel! Terri Weeks was consistently helpful, knowledgeable, experienced, efficient and friendly. Because of her, my trip was a huge success!

Terri planned the perfect 30th anniversary trip to Napa Valley. She took the time to organize the trip around our interests and budget. The detailed itinerary and app made our trip simple to navigate. Terri was a pleasure to work with; she planned my trip to Savannah with care to the details. My flights were scheduled at convenient times, allowing me to check into the hotel upon my arrival and traveling home from the airport outside of rush hours. She arranged a welcome bowl of fruit (I am vegan, so lots of free food-based amenities were not useful to me) and secured a hotel room with a kitchen (per my request) and a balcony with a view. The app she provided was amazing! All my travel information and documentation were in one convenient place. She also went to the trouble of listing area restaurants that had vegan options. Starting several weeks before the trip she sent reminders of things to attend to beforehand. I couldn't be more pleased with the service Terri provided.

We began nearly a year out planning our annual Christmas vacation with Terri. She was very informative and met all of our needs in the planning process and we eventually settled on Punta Cana. She sent out multiple reminders leading up to the trip in reference to check list items before traveling. Once we got to our destination, Terri sent an email to check in to see if we needed anything. I absolutely love using her Trip Plan app which she constantly updates. This is our 3rd trip utilizing Big Rock Travel and will continue to use her for all of our future trips.

I have worked with Terri for the last two years and she has now planned 3 trips for us as we are very happy repeat customers. I think one of my favorite things about working with Terri is that she has suggested some activities/itineraries that we may not have necessarily chosen ourselves, and we all loved what she suggested! For me, I appreciate that her ideas are like a surprise for me and it puts the fun back into travel planning. We have used Terri to plan 2 internationally trips and 1 domestic roadtrip (6 stops!).

I loved working with Terri Weeks! I'm very good at travel planning but I needed expert assistance with planning this trip. Working with Terri was the best decision. Not only is Terri personable and friendly, but she is also a very good listener. She asked all of the right questions and compiled all of the necessary information to create an itinerary that met our needs and exceeded our expectation. Every detail of the trip was attended to from our amazing lodging to the transportation and local guides. The activities she recommended were perfect and they made the trip extra special. We visited Spain and Portugal. Part of the trip we were on our own and a portion of the trip we traveled with the group. The balance of individual and group travel was great. We purchased Diamond-level trip planning service with Big Rock Travel for our May 2024 Northern California two week trip. We asked Terri to create an itinerary of 2 to 3 night stops centering around Yosemite and Lake Tahoe. We started with a Zoom call and then tweaked things via e-mail and phone calls. Our final itinerary took us from San Francisco to Monterey, Sequoia, Yosemite, Lake Tahoe and Napa Valley with lodging and activities in each area. Terri and Nicole listened to our interests and requirements and were very responsive before, during and after our trip. All of our information, including dining suggestions, was uploaded to a fantastic app which was very useful. I would highly recommend Terri for creating a customized trip of a lifetime!

Terri was excellent to work with for both family trips she planned for us. The most recent being a trip to Liverpool and London, England. We had a lot we wanted to see in the time we were there which involved different interests for 2 adults and 3 teens. She created a customized trip for our family making great suggestions to maximize our time. Terri really listens and works with you to create a trip that focuses on your interests. The app she puts together for the trip is wonderful! Each member of the family can always see what is on the itinerary and it has a lot of other great useful information about each location. Terri takes all the stress out of planning and is with you before, during and after the trip to answer questions and provide support. I highly recommend Terri and Big Rock Travel and my family will definitely be using her again for future trips.

We returned from our trip yesterday and it was, no doubt, one of the best vacations of our lives! Everything went off without a hitch. The accommodations were spectacular and all of the many planned activities and dinners were fantastic! And we loved having the Trips app to keep us on schedule.

?From the beginning, Terri listened to what we wanted, took the time to get to know us, and set about scheduling as many adventures as she could in four days with a modest budget. She was challenged with my husband being a bourbon lover & me being a non-drinker, but she was able to customize a mix of experiences with our interest in history woven throughout. We were relieved to have her navigate all the tastings & tours & timing of each activity, & absolutely loved the app which captured all the logistics succinctly in an easy-to-reference format. Early on she even encountered a snag or two when booking, yet she persevered with creativity, kept us informed, & found other viable options. We are truly grateful for Terri's role in the memories we made on this trip!

It was a pleasure working with Terri. She helped us narrow our focus to be sure we saw what as most important to us on this trip. We made changes along the way and she was most accommodating in figuring out what we really needed. Terri Weeks worked on our behalf to adjust to unexpected challenges as our travel time grew near. I tried for nine months to plan this special trip for our family of 16. I then realized their was no way I could accomplish our dream vacation without a travel planner like Terri Weeks.

Terri is amazing! My family engaged her for our trip to Hawaii last year which unfortunately had to be rescheduled due to Covid related issues. When the trip got rescheduled I was no longer able to attend. Terri got me an amazing credit on my flight. She then worked with me over the course of a few months to book THREE different trips using that flight credit. Terri did this all at no extra charge because she is so committed and kind to her clients. Booking the new trips was so easy and she was quick to respond to all of my emails. In this situation many people could have said “you’re out of luck” but Terri went above and beyond to help me!

Absolutely fantastic trip that would not have happened without Terri. Even when we had an issue with a guide service, she jumped in to get our refund. Will be using Terri for future adventures!

We loved the whitewater rafting experience on the Snake River. Our daughter was hesitant at first, but when it was over, she asked to do it again. It ended up being her favorite activity. It was hard to leave Jackson Hole, but enjoyed Yellowstone for it’s own uniqueness. The landscape was fascinating, and Terri’s suggested route was perfect.

Big Rock Travel was great! Terri was so helpful with great advice and was very responsive to my questions. As a working mom, I especially appreciated that she made all our bookings for us so I didn't have to spend time researching and doing the bookings myself. I completed trusted her knowledge base and it all worked out great. Her itinerary app was amazing too - so helpful!
