Our family's first trip to Italy!

Rosie was great to work with. We gave her a wish list of the things we wanted to do and see and she put together an itinerary that hit all of the marks and still provided us with leisure time to explore on our own. This was our family's "last kick at the can" to take our adult children to Europe on a BIG family vacation before they finished university and started doing their own things, so it was really important to make this trip as memorable as possible and Rosie gave us our trip of a lifetime! We will never forget the time we spent exploring Rome, Pompeii, Florence, the Chianti region, and Venice. We were treated like royalty with drivers and guides waiting for us at multiple locations to provide us with transportation and customized tours. THANKS ROSIE! WE LOVED IT ALL!!!!!!!!

Perfect Winter Getaway!

Time was of the essence and she worked her magic quickly to secure plane tickets while still checking other options so that we could compare and make a decision with a few hours. We also appreciated that she took into account flight times (so we wouldn't be on a red-eye) and length of stopovers (so that we would have more time to vacation!). Rosie worked closely with us with date selection to find a time that worked best for our group. She did a lot of research to confirm amenities to meet the specific needs of our persnickety travellers. Rosie confirmed details directly with the resort and found us the best possible deal, including helping us to switch rooms to help improve our stay. Her fluency in Spanish was a great help on this adventure.

Amazing trip to Spain

I called Rosie for help as we were planning a two-week trip to Spain. I had booked Airbnb accommodation and had an idea of itinerary, but flights weren't working out. I'm so glad I called her. She had great suggestions for tweaking our route and it worked out so well. She booked us going into Madrid and leaving from Malaga, and in addition, booked airport transfers, hotels, tours, train tickets and car rental as well. Everything she booked went off without a hitch. We were able to access all the details about what she booked through an easy to use app which had all the details (like where we would meet our tour guide...). She was quick to respond whenever I had a question, and provided some great insider knowledge about travelling to the area. I would highly recommend her services.

This was my first solo trip, and I was excited and nervous. Roise planned every detail for me from airport pick up, hotels, trains and tours. She made sure I had the best experience possible. Two weeks was not enough

We had a wonderful trip! Spending two weeks in Spain was not enough ??
Loved Córdoba (the Mosque, the old city and the location of our hotel), we enjoyed the Flamenco Show in Sevilla and the pool top at Becquer.
It’s a good thing that we saw the horse show before the sherry tasting in Jerez?? That was a lot of sherry!
We had a wonderful lunch with an outstanding view on a terrace in Ronda.
I think my favourite city was Granada with that Morocco’s culture ambiance.
Mijas.... what a beautiful village! We were very happy to relax and chill for the last part of our trip at Villa Corazon and enjoying our million dollar view.
Transportation was ideal; from train to private vehicles to our rental car.
Everyone (chauffeurs, guides) were courteous, proud and happy to make us discover their region.
Overall superb trip! Thank you so much for your help.

Just got back from a Central European Tour all organized by Dietrich Getaways. Rosie had everything planned from the Airport and train pick ups to private walking tours and dinner cruises as well as palace and castle tours. Amazing Family Trip!

We had a great time in Cancun ringing in 2025! Beautiful Resort. We sent Rosie a list of "could we have" and she hit all that we asked for!

Family Trip with Older children: Ages are 22, 21, 17, and 15. Something for everyone. Great food, entertainment, location and amazing staff.

Excellent Last Minute Trip

trip to Romania and Rome. Everything went according to plan! The airport
shuttle from the hotel was great and easy (although they said they took
credit cards, they really wanted cash fyi). The hotel was fantastic,
great location, staff and breakfast were really great. The food tour in
Travestere was the highlight - we had an amazing time, great tour guide,
awesome food. Definitely the best. Your travel notes were so helpful. We

Everything went off without a hitch with the exception of the Bologna trip. The tour was excellent but the train was delayed so they were kindly waiting for us. Just a few minutes. The way back we got help from some lovely locals as the machines caught us up but all was good.

I came to Rosie with my needs/wants/"must haves" for our trip to Italy. Rosie spent some time on the phone with me, taking the time to get to know me and my family. She created a beautiful itinerary for us that was absolutely perfect! She is extremely passionate about travel and ensuring that her clients have a fantastic experience. Her app listed out each day of our trip with all the details we needed: guided walking tour info, train info, tickets, vouchers along with any additional sites, restaurants she thought we may like to visit. Rosie helped our family of 11 to plan an all-inclusive vacation to Punta Cana. Near the top of the list was a family friendly, smaller resort with minimal sea grass on the beach. She hit it right on! Cancelled Due to Covid, but Great Travel Partner

Rosiedid a great job of getting my husband and me organized for the Italian and French vacation of our dreams. She did a good job of listening to what we wanted and integrating that into our agenda. Unfortunately Covid-19 stepped in and derailed our plans, but this is where Rosie really stepped up and showed us how fantastic she could be. She has helped us to ensure that our insurance claim was filed (and suggested we buy insurance to begin with), and has been a very supportive partner throughout the cancellation process. Extremely happy with our recent Dietrich Getaways vacation in October. Rosie was phenomenal to work with from the initial stages of planning for a family of five to working out the finer details to make the perfect getaway after covid. Her attention to detail was much appreciated especially with travel rules and insurance as it pertains to post covid travel. You can read online forums but her advice was the most accurate when it came to wait times, travel requirements and restrictions, baggage issues and even aeroplan. While there, she checked in to ensure that we were doing well. It was the best decision to have Rosie plan our family vacation to Barbados. Nowadays, travel is a lot more complicated so we made the best decision with having her take care of all the details so that it could be as stress free as possible. As a couple fully engaged in the stress of wedding planning, it was comforting to have her book our hotels and activities based on our preferences and staying within our budget. Rosie was amazing in helping us plan our family trip to Universal Studios! From the moment I spoke to Rosie and told her what kind if trip we were thinking, she went right to work! She told us about a promotion that Universal Stuidos had along with a new Universal resort that was just about to open and she managed to find the prices in Canadian dollars which was a bonus. She also found us a great price for our flight! Just before we left for our trip, Rosie went out of her way to compile a tricks and tips sheet for Universal Stuidos for us as she was there just weeks prior. She didn't have to do that, but it was such a big help and something we referred to during our trip! Rosie was very organzied, detailed and helpful throughout the whole experience. Wouldn't travel without her!

Rosie was REALLY helpful to book travel during these pandemic times. She carefully researched our insurance and helped us. In the end, we had to cancel, and again she did all the heavy lifting and was with us every step of the way. I would not travel during COVID without a professional agent - we would have wasted thousands, I think. In the booking part of the trip, again she was really helpful contacting the resort directly and getting us the villa we wanted. Would not travel without her in the pandemic, she went the extra mile!

Dietrich Getaways provided an awesome experience planning my dream vacation for 2019 to Ireland. Friends were glad to see that Rosie included Northern Ireland on the tour. A detailed plan of the flight, the land tour, daily experience and food were provided so I could see what is on the agenda every day. Rosie asked questions and listened and, as a result, included extra days in Dublin and Belfast so I can visit the family plot as well as other attractions that I personally want to see. Rosie was patient and thorough in her suggestions as I listed off several dream vacations that were on my bucket list. She listened to what I thought were my needs until we arrived at Ireland.

Best trip that never happened

Rosie put together all the pieces of our trip that would have been very tricky to do ourselves. Her travel experience helped us avoid poor choices of location, she arranged all the transfers from place to place and gave us lots of extra advice. We were very impressed with her vast knowledge and savvy advice.
And then Covid hit and she stepped up and did all the work of cancelling and applying for refunds even though she had nothing to gain. Although we were sad to miss our trip we were so relieved to have Rosie navigate the cancellation process for us. Choosing her was the best move we’ve ever made and she’ll be the first person we call when we can travel again.
