What is a world cruise like? Why are cruises/why are world cruises in particular so popular? The top 3 reasons world cruises are so popular is convenience, community, and if you can believe it price. First convenience- as I mentioned if you really want to see the world to get to all of these places would include lots of flights/going through security, checking in and out of hotels, packing and unpacking. On a world cruise you can unpack one time and not have to worry at all how you're getting to the next destination- thank you Captain!! Community- the sense of community and friendships formed are bonds that last. Think how busy you always were at home and how tricky it was to set up time for coffee with your friend. Now imagine being on a world cruise with nothing but time to sit down to leisurely gourmet meals each night as you make new friends, then going out to explore new places together, etc. You also will be surrounded by others like you in that they love to travel and make the most of every day. They tend to be flexible (prereq to enjoying travel) and are generally happy. But you'll also be able to meet people from all over which is so fun. And 3rd value- 1 world cruise would really be like 15 normal trips- each with flights, hotels, meals, drinks, and more. Combining them gives you a lot of value if you really want to get out and explore the world.
