The clients I connect with most are not defined by age, a particular type of trip, or how many stamps they already have in their passport.

They are people who are curious about the world, value their time, appreciate thoughtful service, and want a journey that feels considered rather than copied from someone else's itinerary.

That might be a couple planning an anniversary they have talked about for years. It might be a family finally getting everyone together, three generations trying to find the rare trip that genuinely works for all of them, or someone celebrating a retirement, birthday, graduation or another milestone that deserves more than an ordinary vacation.

I especially enjoy milestone and multi generational travel because the best trip is rarely about one spectacular hotel or one unforgettable excursion. It is about understanding the people going, balancing different interests and energy levels, and creating enough shared moments that everyone comes home feeling the trip belonged to them.

For experienced travelers, the conversation is often different.

If you have already seen many of the places you once dreamed about, the question becomes “what next?”

That might mean approaching a familiar destination differently, exploring somewhere less obvious, traveling by expedition ship or private yacht, gaining access to something you could not easily arrange on your own, or simply discovering an experience you did not know existed.

Those conversations are some of my favorites.

You also do not need to arrive knowing exactly what you want. Some clients come to me with a detailed wish list;others begin with something as simple as, “We want to go somewhere incredible, but we don't know where.”

Both are great starting points.
