I decided to pursue a part time career in the travel industry after many years of planning family and friends vacations, events and get-together. I didn't think much about it until I saw an advertisement about becoming a travel agent. After much research I finally took the plunge and started training. I haven't looked back since. I started booking groups for cruises, family vacations, and all inclusive resorts. Domestic vacations and Road trips came about as clients became more comfortable traveling after the pandemic hit. 

I am very particular about how many clients I take on. It's not about quantity but the quality of the service I give my clients. I research my clients vacation as if it were my own.   If a client is looking for something I am not familiar with, I do extensive research based on their desires and past experiences.  Whether it's a client on a fixed budget or someone who is ready to splurge. I love being able to make my clients' travel dreams come true! I am delighted when they share their experiences (good or bad) with me when they return home. 

 My favorite destination is Cuba. I stayed in Havana and took a day trip to Vinales. As an American it is required we travel there in support of the Cuban people. So you must patronize businesses run by the people, not the government. It was a humbling experience. While you are there your vacation will be a cultural immersion. 

I consider myself an epicurean enthusiast  and love learning about different cultures.
