After spending three weeks in Germany in high school, I knew I was meant to be in the travel industry.  I attended college in South Dakota for Hotel/Restaurant Management but my first year the program was discontinued.  I had to quickly adjust my plans, as you often have to in the travel industry and Graduated with a degree in Business Management and a minor in Travel and Tourism. While still in college the Travel Agency in town offered me an internship with them. 

After graduation I moved back to Duluth and worked for an agency for 15 years during which I gained extensive knowledge and experience through training and travel.

I have visited Hawaii, Vegas, Disney, Alaska, Banaff, Jasper and Lake Louise, Russia, London, Mexico, Jamaica, Turks and Caicos, Dominican Republic and more.  I also found a love of cruising and have visited many of the Caribbean Islands and have sailed with Holland America, Princess, Carnival, Disney Cruise and Royal Caribbean.

In 2011 when my first son was born I decided it was time for a change and began to work independently from my home.  It was the best of both worlds for me, I could still work with my amazing clients while being home for my boys. 

In 2017 I took on another adventure and purchased Travel by Horizons.  I continue to grow my industry knowledge daily and love planning and customizing travel plans for clients!
