I fell in love with travel after I met and fell in love with my husband Chris and together we made vacationing a key part of our family's life. It has been said that the families that vacation together stay together, and in our fast-paced, technology-saturated, 21st century life where most (if not all) family members either work or go to school all day long, vacationing has become one of the precious essential times when families can bond with each other, share and discover new experiences, and build lasting memories. Now with two boys, my husband and I have made many vacation memories, from camping/road-tripping, theme park adventures, cruises and so much more. Trip to Germany and Austria

We had such a great experience with Valerie Thom and Upon A Star & Concierge. Since our booking started over a year ago, Valerie helped us with everything we needed to do for our trip. Reminded us if there was something coming up that we had to get done, Valerie was on top of everything. I know she was having some busy times with things going on at home but she always got back to us in record time with answers to our questions. On our trip, even with there being 7 hours different in time, she got back to us as soon as possible with any questions we had. Was such a great trip!

Trip of a lifetime!

We just got back from a trip of a lifetime and Valerie was key in that happening! She was able to take a few of our "bucket list" items and turn those plus additional must see sites into an unforgettable Germany/Austria vacation. She was with us every step of the way, making sure that we (who are not world travelers) had all the tools, info, apps etc that made the trip seamless and very easy on our end. She was even available for if we had any questions while overseas. You can tell she loves what she does and wants everyone to have an amazing vacation no matter how big or small. Truly impressed and highly recommend!

Valerie is the best travel agent you could ask for. She helped me for my first family cruise booking and very hands on with details . I booked it early April and sailed on August with payment plans and Valerie made it very simple for me. She always available every time I had questions and give me so many helpful suggestions with her own experience. I needed travel protection and Valerie helped me pick out which one is the best fit for my need. If you need help with hotel, transportation, or flight, she also be able to help you.

Incredible Graduation Trip to Greece

HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Valerie at Upon A Star Travel & Concierge created an incredible trip for my family for my son's HS graduation and she did an absolutely fantastic job! She was incredibly easy to work with as we made specific requests on destinations and tours. She worked with a local company, Bespoke Greece, and they provided an invaluable trip planner that was easy to access while in Greece and view, even without a data plan. They provide us with all our ferry and airplane tickets 48hr ahead of needing them as the trip progressed. The drivers and guides that were arranged were amazing - very professional and knowledgeable. Someone was also available to us at a moments notice is case we had questions, needed anything or if anything happened (which thankfully for us was only a slightly late pickup which had zero impact on us getting to a destination but Bespoke Greece replied to our text immediately, called the driver to confirm he was on the way, and quickly relaye
