Amazing Kangaroo Island!
Visiting Australia is definitely something everyone should experience! It is such a diverse country, and the people are truly lovely. As an Aussie Specialist, encouraging travel to this country/continent is my passion! It is not as far away as you may think, and it is 100% worth the effort of getting there!
Once I started traveling as an adult, I always hoped that I would get the chance to experience Australia. It seemed so mysterious, so beautiful, and so far away! I got extremely lucky as my second assignment in my consulting career was in Melbourne, Australia! And not only would I be going to Australia, but I would get to spend a total of about three months there.
During that time, I experienced Melbourne like a local. Going to the market every day to buy food, walking through the Botanic Gardens, even attending the Australian Tennis Open, the Australian Golf Open and many backyard BBQs. I drove the Great Ocean Road in Victoria, spent a weekend in Port Douglas, Queensland in the rainforest, saw the fairy penguins emerge in Phillip Island, and had a wonderful time with new-found friends for a weekend in Sydney!
Several years later, my mom and I went back. We experienced Tasmania and it's wild and wonderful coast and countryside (not to mention wines!). We lounged in the Sydney Botanic Gardens, watching the ships in the harbour with the Opera House in the foreground, shopped in The Rocks near Circular Quay and the Harbour Bridge, took a ferry to Manly, drove to Watson's Bay and visited Darling Harbour, venue for the 2000 Summer Olympics.
Then it was up to the Great Barrier Reef and far north Queensland! What an amazing adventure. We took a snorkeling tour (only about 25 people, not one of the big 200+ people boats), and had the time of our lives! We saw all sorts of colorful fish, reef sharks, and even a 6 foot diameter neon purple starfish! We went to Kuranda and took a gondola over the rainforest, held koalas, and even saw some crocodile.
Let me introduce you to the Land Down Under - you will remember it for a lifetime!

We are so glad we found Your Travel Mom - Mary Pat Rosewicz to help us plan what was to be a wonderful trip to Scotland. She helped us think through various tour options and add-ons to fit our personal ideas, needs, and preferences. She saved us a lot of time by using her expertise to find alternatives that met our needs. She made many contacts with service providers herself to make sure all our questions were answered before we made any commitments. Most unfortunately, COVID 19 came along and we were forced to cancel our trip. But Mary Pat continued to proved great service as we navigated the aftermath of having to shut this trip down. Amazing Trip and must be on the bucket list

Italy is an amazing country to explore the history, culture, cuisine. Mary Pat made our trip seamless with all of the details at our fingertips which allowed us to focus on our experience and not worry about anything else. Mary Pat was in communication prior to our trip to confirm reservations and then had a final meeting a week before we took off. The communication with Angela (the local contact) was top notch! She checked in on us daily to make sure everything was going as planned as well answer any questions we may have. While we explored the Northern part of Italy our intention is to get back and discover the southern part next.

First trip to Ireland

That trip to Ireland was amazing. Thank you so much for helping me put it together. It was exactly what I expected and even more. I really enjoyed the west coast of Ireland the most, especially Galway and around Kenmare. Thank you for suggesting Kenmare. It was a quick shot around the island and I found I wanted to stay in some places more than others, but that is exactly what I wanted. I wanted to see as much as possible on this trip, so I know where I want to spend my time on the next trip. I don't know if my next trip will be to Ireland, Scotland, and or England. I had such a great time in Ireland I may go there again before something new.I will have to see, but I definitely would like to do another trip by the end of 2027. It's in my system now. I will definitely use your services again and let all my friends and family know I highly recommend your services.
Also, thank you for your quick response with our last hotel stay. You acted very professionally and quickly remedied the situation. I'm actually surprised and impressed that that little hiccup was the only issue with all the different reservations we had. You did an outstanding job!

First vacation to Italy

Mary Pat was extremely helpful for first time Italy/Europe vacationers. She answered all of our questions, made herself available when we asked, and our arrangements were perfect for us balancing budget and quality of experience. Kistler Family Australia 2025

Phenomenal experience visiting Australia. Qantas fantastic. Sydney incredible! Did Sydney Bridge Climb (epic), toured Opera House (amazing), visited The Rocks, & hired driver to take us on tour of city landmarks, neighborhoods & beaches. Did 7 mile hike from Maroubra Beach to Bondi Beach. Restaurants & food options amazing. Vegemite = awful!
Flew Sydney to Cairns, rented car & drove to Port Douglas. Stopped at Hartley's Crocodile Adventure. Think Sea World for crocs. Now closer to equator so very tropical, HOT & humid but not tourist busy.
Did snorkel trip out to Great Barrier Reef. Amazing. Seas were calm, had great visibility + engaging crew of cool marine biologists. Saw Nemo(s), sea turtles, reef sharks, jellies, beautiful coral & best part - nothing that would eat us!!!
Driver took us on a day trip to Kuranda Village via the Skyrail & then rode Scenic Railway (constructed 1891-amazing engineering!). Visited Baron Gorge, Natalie held a Koala (Kiki)+ saw more koala's, crocs, ro

My partner and I consulted with 3 travel agents online and chose to work with Mary Pat due to the significant experience and knowledge she had to offer. First Trip to Italy

Thank you for checking in! We had the most wonderful trip... and it was more than we could have hoped for.
The app with the links for getting between hotels/train stations/meeting spots was super helpful. The tipping guide you included was also helpful as we referenced it often to remind ourselves (because it felt so strange to tip differently) in order to fit with their culture.

Amazing Italy Trip

Amazing trip! Mary Pat was so helpful!! We talked through everything about the trip, ranging from my family's preferred types and levels of activities to the kinds of hotels we enjoyed to the actual locations we wanted to visit. Her advice and guidance were invaluable. All of our tours were fabulous and the hotel accommodations were in the heart of the cities and accessible to everything. We especially enjoyed the Hotel Bellevue Syrene in Sorrento; it was pricey, but such a unique and beautiful experience! Mary Pat was responsive from start to finish (including while we were there and when our flight was delayed on the way home). We felt like we experienced Italy to the fullest and have some wonderful family memories. We couldn't have planned such an incredible trip without Mary Pat's assistance. First Time to Europe

We’ve known Mary Pat for some time and since we had never traveled to Europe we asked for her help. She was phenomenal and we absolutely recommend her. She took care of everything but the hotels(we did that). Booked a 2 week trip to Italy that was amazing! Venice, Florence, Rome & Sorrento. Many wonderful semi-private and private tours that were fabulous, guides were great. Answered any questions we had. Calmed any anxieties. We had an issue in Rome (nothing she did) that required some replanning and it was taken care of ASAP. She uses an app that has all your info, directions, train tickets, tour vouchers, etc on it which was very helpful. Use Mary Pat as your travel planner, you won’t regret it. We’ve already given her name to several people.

Steve and Faiths Bucket list trip

Our trip planning began in Aug 2019 for a 15 day trip to Italy in April of 2020. In Sept of 2022 when we decided to rekindle the trip Mary Pat was ready . We liked her ideas but then decided let's make this a more adventurous trip. We hit her with how about adding Israel to the itinerary. Mary Pat had not been but found a great tour company that let us decide where in the country we wanted to go. We spent 15 days in Israel saw a huge part of the country including a day and night in Jordan at the Petra ruins. Our guide was awesome and the hotels all top shelf From Israel we went to Italy for 13 days. We used points for hotels and made our own reservations except for the cool studio apartment Mary Pat found in Vernazza a village in the Italian Riviera known as Cinque Terra. She set up days tours in Florence, Rome and Montepulciano. All were done by guides that spoke good English and were genuinely nice people. I would not hesitate to have her plan our next adventure.

First Big Retirement Trip

Incredible family trip to Harry Potter World

Mary Pat took the stress out of trip planning

Two families from two different states planned a trip to four countries in Europe (Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland, England). Since we wanted visit atypical rural sites, we planned the lodging ourselves. But we wanted to meet up and fly over and back together. Mary Pat made all the flight arrangements, working very hard to get us the best deals, at the most convenient times. Her communication was VERY good, both initially, as flights changed, and when, at the last minute, our return flight from London was delayed, causing connecting flight concerns. Mary Pat went to bat getting our flight changed, and assuring we had seating on a flight that allowed us plenty of time to get through customs. She was very patient about answering our 'novice traveler' questions, and while she offered us options and advice, we never felt pressured. I would HIGHLY recommend using her again. We felt like the money we paid for this service was DEFINITELY worth it.
