Most visitors to Hawaii will spend time on Kauai, Oahu, Maui, or the Big Island (Hawaii Island). Each of these islands has its own unique character. It all depends on what you are looking for. You will find history, culture, good food, beaches, nature, and so much more all over Hawaii. 

What is there to do in Hawaii?

For the adventurers, take a surfing lesson or swim with the manta rays or take a helicopter ride for a bird's eye view of the island.

For the active traveler, hike a volcano or go kayaking on a river. 

What is there to see in Hawaii?

For the history buff, visit the Arizona Memorial, the site of the start of World War II

Where should I go for my first trip to Hawaii?

If you had to choose only one island, I would suggest Oahu. You’ll be able to enjoy all of Hawaii on just one island. Oahu has beautiful beaches, great food, a hikeable volcano, history, culture, and nature. 

How do I get to Hawaii?

There are numerous non-stop flights from many U.S. West Coast cities to Kauai, Oahu, Maui, and the Big Island. If you have extra time, consider a 9+ day cruise from Vancouver, Canada or U.S. West Coast ports.
