What’s first going to catch your attention about Costa Rica, besides its delightfully warm and proud people, is its landscape. If you can imagine the foggy Smoky Mountains just tipping into the ocean amongst some of the lushest greenery you’ve ever seen, you can begin to understand what you’re in for.
Visit the northern city of Liberia, which is a great start for various day trips to fulfill your wildest dreams. Ziplining, river rafting, beaches, and hot mud baths are all different things to explore. If you’re a scuba diver or snorkeler, I highly recommend the Central American country of Belize. Its more-remote location and massive Belize Barrier Reef make it the ideal diving destination.
Belize is often associated with other English-speaking Caribbean nations, not only because it is the other primary English language country in Central America, but because it is the only mainland Central American country that is a commonwealth of the English crown.

Cynthia worked hard to make this a trip of a lifetime and that's how it turned out. Everything about the trip from start to end was great. when trip was finalized, she sat down with my wife and me to go over every step of the trip from leaving to arrival back home. That made the trip to a foreign county much more relaxing and pleasurable. She made recommendations to visit other cities that were not on our list and very pleased with all of the recommendations.

Cynthia made my first travel abroad experience SO easy & such a blast. We were most nervous about knowing where to go when it was time to change destinations, and she had everything set up so that there were zero questions and zero concerns! The Craziest Trip I’ve Ever Bern On!!

If I could give Cynthia 10 stars, I would!! She went above and beyond on my trip. From booking it last minute to where I wanted to go, to getting me back home earlier than expected, and making sure I got home. She did all of this NYE & NYD. I hardly had any cell service, no WiFi, plus a huge language barrier and she kept in contact non stop while continuing to get locals to help me. I can’t thank her enough for all of her help!

A Rare Jewel in the Midst of Chaos

Perfect trip to Italy

Mexican Paradise

My husband and I wanted to take a fun trip to Tulum and Cancun. Tulum is a bit tricky to get to because they have locked-in transit times but Cynthia made everything seamless and time-efficient. When we arrived at Cancun airport, customs was so overcrowded and we were scared we would miss our bus to Tulum. Luckily Cynthia prepared just enough time for us to sit and enjoy a Margarita while we waited. Cynthia is very detailed and thorough. She listened to everything we wanted and delivered an experience much more than we could have imagined. I was pretty skeptical to use a Travel Agent at first but after using Cynthia, I can guarantee we will not be going back to booking our own travel. You can tell that Cynthia really loves what she does because she truly cares about her clients. Best 5 day 4-night vacation I have ever had!

Not only that, Cynthia provide information that I would not have even thought to ask but she answered every question that I had via email and her personal cell! Our Alaskan Adventure!

Cynthia was a pleasure to work with when planning our 30th Anniversary trip to Alaska! She worked diligently to get the perfect trip all set up for us. She is very attentive to the clients she serves, and you can tell she wants to make your trip "The Trip of a Lifetime" regardless of what you are doing or where you are going! Communication was excellent and that is so very important. Our trip was actually planned twice. Last year our first plan was an Alaskan inner passage cruise and then the pandemic hit so we had to put everything on hold and start over. Our second plan was totally different, and she just rolled right with the changes we made. We opted to forgo the cruise and instead took a road trip from Fairbanks to Anchorage, with many destinations in the surrounding areas. Our flights were great, our rental car pick up/drop off was seamless, and our accommodations were exactly what we were looking for! We thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our trip! My experience with Cynthia was a three-year marathon! Covid canceled our plans for two years but by the third year, we were able to go to Italy. Cynthia is no doubt, the best travel agent I have ever worked with. We talked a lot over the 3-year span - making plans, canceling plans, making new plans etc. Everything that Cynthia set up for us was first class! She set up all of our tours which were absolutely fabulous! The hotels she selected for us were near everything we wanted to do! We loved every hotel we stayed in. Cynthia also arranged all of our transportations; to and from airports, train stations, water taxis in Venice. We just simply looked for someone holding up our name and went straight to them.
If you are planning on a trip to Italy, ( or anywhere for that matter) Cynthia is the travel agent you want. Her attention to detail far exceeded any expectations I had.

Cynthia was wonderful and a pleasure to work with. I am traveling with a group if couples and this was a difficult trip to coordinate and plan. Cynthia did a great job or working with many different requests and moving parts. She is professional and knows her business. I wish we better understood the way the travel packaging worked from the onset. I think it would have saved all of us some time and made the decision process a little easier. In the end we did not book as much as we had hoped, but to no fault of Cynthia's. It was really just the limits of post Covid travel and how things get bundled.

It was the middle of May when I decided to take my son to Rome during summer for a graduation present, which is pretty short notice for planning a trip like that! I knew next to nothing about Rome, but Cynthia was super helpful and got it done for us. She found flight and hotel packages for the few different weeks we had available so we could compare and decide, she very gently talked me out of a couple crazy ideas I had, and she knew the best parts of town to stay and the best hotels for our budget in those parts of town. Unconventional destination No problem for Cynthia and Travel Leaders

When I told people I was planning a trip for my wife and me to Iceland, their reactions were all a flavor of "What? ...where again? ...WHY?" The "why" was that my wife always wanted to see the Northern Lights, and I like to go places other people don't; so, I called Cynthia. Her reaction only contained questions like "When? and What would you like to do while you're there?" Well, I knew I wanted my wife to see the Northern Lights, and I wanted her to be pampered. Already long story short, Cynthia got us great prices on first class airfare and and accomodations with a gorgeous mountain-framed ocean view! Since I hadn't thought past the Northern Lights, she sent me enough suggestions to fill our entire week while we were there, which included exploring a lava tube and my personal favorite, bathing in a volcanic lake...with a swim-up bar!
If you ever want to go to a special destination and you want to do it right, I highly recommend Cynthia and her team at Travel Leaders.

Thoughtfully organized and structured trip

Every detail of our trip was tended to carefully. Our hotels, six in all, were perfectly accommodating and in prime locations for walkability to restaurants, shopping and striking sites. Moreover, they were each distinct from one another providing for interesting stays.
Our travel, four plane and four train rides, was completely in order and spaced so that we weren’t rushed.
This was our second European vacation planned with Cynthia and we will design another next year. I always emphasize using a travel agent to friends and Cynthia certainly fits the bill.

When arriving on island the people who greeted us at the airport were so kind and helpful. When we arrived at the Royalton Luxury Hotel & Spa they greeted us in the lobby with a refreshing fruit punch and the front desk help and concierge Janel were so good to us! The restaurant’s at the resort all had delicious foods from the Hibachi restaurant, the Italian restaurant, the Steakhouse restaurant and so on….There were so many really nice pools to choose from and the beach at the resort was absolutely beautiful!! The water was crystal clear and a very nice temperature not hot not cold, just right!! We had excellent service at the resort and I even came into my hotel room to a bubble bath with rose petals one evening and a plate of delicious desserts! The two shops on site were very nice as I enjoy my shopping! We went on a catamaran tour(7 hours) which ran longer which we loved that tour so much!!! We toured the town of Soufriere, we went to the waterfall, we went to the mud baths which were absolutely amazing!!! I had so much fun and can’t wait to go back and do that again!!! We then went to lunch at park in the woods with a cabin like pavilion and had a buffet lunch which was really good!!! We then left to come back and stopped and anchored the catamaran so you could either snorkel or swim! That was a fantastic day and one I will remember always!!!! Thank you Cynthia Schutt from Travel Leaders for making our experience in St. Lucia one that we will never forget!!!

Multi-Generational Trip to Italy!

We had an incredible family trip to Italy, thanks to Cynthia’s outstanding planning and support. Every detail—transfers, hotels, and excursions—was well coordinated, making travel easy and enjoyable. Highlights included an amazing start in Rome (especially dinner at Tullio and exploring the Vatican), a charming stay in Florence with a memorable winery tour, and relaxing family time in Venice at Lido Beach.
There were a few challenges: a rail strike and some hotel issues in Milan, where the location and facilities didn’t suit our needs. We recommend future travelers avoid Hotel Manin and suggest Cynthia gather more details about a client’s interests and budget before booking Milan accommodations. Otherwise, our hotels were perfectly situated and provided excellent service.
Cynthia was always responsive and helpful, answering questions and offering great local recommendations. We truly appreciate her professionalism and expertise, which made for a once-in-a-lifetime trip with my family. We wouldn’t hesitate to use her services again or recommend her to anyone planning an Italy adventure!

I encountered Travel Leaders at a Collierville Chamber lunch and decided to try using an agent for my wife's and my anniversary cruise. 30th Anniversary Trip

The weather was perfect. The people were pleasant, helpful, and grateful that tourist had come back, especially to Maui. The hotels were clean and spacious. The people drove with caution. I contacted Cynthia only a few months before a planned trip and bombarded her with a bunch of changes through out it all - she never missed a beat!
I reached out to Cynthia when I needed help planning an anniversary trip to Europe for my parents. I was drowning in all the choices I had to make and the choices my parents were unsure about. Cynthia took almost everything off my hands and set to work. She quickly got a timetable all set up, scheduled flights and trains and shuttles, hotels and all the other little things! She was very kind in communicating with me and waiting for me to communicate with my parents and for then me to communicate back with her. This was a "surprise" trip in the sense that I was doing my best to take on the bulk of the decision making for my parents to give them a stress free trip. Cynthia helped us put our plans for our recent trip to Japan together- an awesome itinerary!
3 hours into our flight to Tokyo, due to mechanical issues, the plane was turned around to Dallas and we found out there was not another flight until the next day, throwing a monkey wrench into our tightly scheduled trip. Although it was after office hours CST, we were able to contact the Travel-leaders receptionist who contacted Cynthia. Across multiple time zones she reached out to our hotel and private transfer folks to make sure they adjusted times/days to welcome us smoothly when we finally arrived.
It is great to have Cynthia taking care of the details, especially when things go sideways.

Cynthia put together a nice itinerary for our 2 week honeymoon in Italy. We went to Venice, Sorrento, Amalfi, Capri and Naples. Each step along the way we were met in a timely manner by local guides who helped us navigate getting from place to place. The hotels chosen were lovely and well placed for local exploration by foot. The excursions throughout were great to learn about the area in greater detail.

Cynthia is such a kind patient person. I am sixty six and not that good with computers. Over the course of three days, I couldn't tell you how much time that she spent helping me get my reservations correctly done. She never showed frustration, only professionalism and helpfulness and a positive attitude. Cynthia was quick to respond and help plan a trip to Greece and Italy only a few weeks before departure. She very quickly developed an itinerary for us and modified it as we requested changes. She informed us that she would not be able to guarantee the trip if Covid guidelines from each country changed and that the trip insurance would not cover any part of the trip affected by Covid. Long story short, we were turned away from our initial flights due to a new Covid rule in Greece that we were not aware of. We ended up losing most of our flights and had to repurchase them on our own. Cynthia did her best to help us through the process and helped us far beyond work hours but Covid is a wild card. Ultimately, we did go on our trip for much more than we anticipated and we are glad we went! Read each country’s travel guidelines VERY CAREFULLY before your trip. I would recommend Cynthia, but I would be hesitant to recommend travel to Europe at this point until Covid regulations are relaxed.

Been working with her for years.. international travel can be complicated but she's always made all of the arrangements with 100% accuracy. And even more than that, she has good relations with a lot of the resorts I go so during my stays i'm treated extremely well and often given upgraded privileges and status at the resort. Our recent experience at the Dreams resort in Tulum was a great example. All arrangements were spot on and she gives us a direct phone for her just in case there are any problems (there never has been one).
