Dan is a pleasure to work with. He has a terrific sense of humor and is never too busy to listen to a cruise experience or to look up some information about your particular travel issues. If you call him with a question, he will respond the same day if he doesn't have the answer immediately. After our recent cruise, he was reviewing our future cruise documents and called to question whether we had booked two cruises back to back with no possibility of making connections. We had not done so, but were grateful that he caught the error before we were asked for payment.

2024 World Cruise on Regent Mariner

A WC was a "Bucket List" thing that we booked with Dan for 2022 but the itinerary was changed and we exited early. We rebooked for 2024 on 3 different lines as a "back-up plan." We ended up choosing the HAL itinerary but we switched back to Regent in mid-November when Dan said he had a suite open up. We felt VERY FORTUNATE to have had Dan as our TA for many years and the trip was marvelous. So much so that we are considering another WC on Regent. We've had another TA in the past and believe Dan is the best. Truly a great guy whom we admire both personally and professionally!

I am a new solo traveller which meant paying the single supplement. Dan was able to find me an unobstructed outside cabin which suited my needs and was within my budget. I was on the main level just down from the Atrium which proved to be a great location close to the dining room and activities I wanted to participate in. There was nothing above me so the room was very quiet. Dan made sure I was aware of any changes to the cruise. Whenever I called if he wasn't available he always got back to me in a timely manner. I didn't have any problems during the cruise itself so I didn't need to contact him about anything.

Dan was very helpful to basically first time cruisers. It had been 19 yrs since we last took a cruise. His recommendations for staterooms was especially good. We loved having a private balcony were we could get away from the noise & the crowds on the other decks. Also Dan's assistant, Marie, was get when I got a little panic stricken as our sailing date got closer. She did some hand holding & calmed me down. Dan was very helpful. He was always prompt with his response either by phone or email. The only issue we had was confirming seats on our flights. It was a difficult process for me to do the seat selections since the flights were booked through the agency. Dan was helpful with this.

Dan has been very responsive to our needs. He has communicated with us even on his time off. We have asked him to change cabins a number of times for us and he has done that. As of yet we have not needed assistance with transportation to or from cruises but that may happen in our future. He has always helped us find the best solution for our needs.

Dan helped us put together a river cruise to France with Scenic river cruise company. He was able to get us free tickets to the Lido show in Paris. Scenic has a difficult webpage to navigate and getting information from them is sometimes difficult but Dan was able to work through these barriers. We truly appreciated his persistence.

As seniors, we enjoy small ship cruising within the United States. We discovered American Cruise Lines about fifteen years and continue to like their style.
