If you're looking for a cruise for the non-cruiser, Virgin Voyages is it! When I walked onboard, I was reminded of The Cosmopolitan Hotel in Vegas. Very sleek and modern. The atmosphere was upbeat and fun!
This was a quick getaway with one of my best friends and we had such a great time. The food was AMAZING and there are so many dining options (all included!), that we didn't get a chance to try them all out. My favorite was The Wake, with Gunbae a close second.
I opted for a Sea Terrace (balcony) cabin and it was very well appointed and included mood lighting! The bathroom was small, so I think I'll go for an XL Sea Terrace next time, where the bathrooms are larger. Cabin stewards come once a day on Virgin, which was fine with me.
The shows and entertainment were very fun- not your typical "cruise ship fare". Bonus- we were invited to a secret show down below, so make friends with the entertainment crew!
Virgin is a fabulous product and I can't wait to sail again in October!

Very Memorable Anniversary and Retirement Cruise

Bridgett Quinn Webber at Cruise Specialists was instrumental in booking us on a back-to-back Transatlantic and Norwegian fjords cruise on Celebrity in the Retreat. She’s booked six cruises for us and she has always been a joy to work with. Bridgett is always available to answer our questions and offer her insights for different destinations. The Norwegian fjords were a “bucket list” trip for us so we decided to combine it with a transatlantic cruise to celebrate our anniversary and my retirement. When we entered our cabin we were greeted with a beautiful box of macaroons from Bridgett to start our celebration cruise.

A Vacation We Needed

We decided on a particular cruise just before we left the country. Since we were not available by phone, everything was arranged by email. This is the third cruise she has booked for us, and the first on this cruise line. We talked to other people who were on the cruise who used other travel agents or booked directly through the cruise and didn’t have the great experience we had in with Bridgett. She knows her stuff.

Bridgett was very helpful from the beginning when trying to decide on which cruise to book - no pressure and answered all my questions. She was spot on with choosing Princess for our family cruise. She was very responsive when I had questions along the way and was able to answer my concerns.
